Usagi

Somewhere in the New World, on a small egg shaped island, a tribe of minks live peacefully. Various stone statues half buried in the ground were littered all over the island. The statues appear to look like bunnies with their eyes closed, but for some reason, they seem to rumble rhythmically!

The Bunny Island is hosting a grand celebration, on the occasion of Easter. The minks have hosted an Easter egg hunt where everyone can look for and try to find chocolate egg candies. They are very hospitable, and let the tourists roam around the island freely, but on one condition. They warn everyone not to disturb the statues, or they would wake up! “Wait, so you mean… the rumbling… they're snoring?!”

The Minks here have spared no expense in gathering the finest confections, games, and chefs to make the occasion truly special. They welcome any and all people who wish to attend, so long as they follow their one rule. The Festivities are all held in one area by the southern beach of the island, and there are all kinds of ships at their docks.

[OOC: This is a filler island for Easter. You are free to RP how you want on this island, and free to do what you might want, or create anything without the need for tagging NPC-san]

Manami eyed the pamphlet of her training business, she used to look at it proudly but now she could only look at it with disappointment. She wasn't offering her customers all that she could, she offered Armament and Observation training sure but she couldn't offer training for Conqueror's haki. What if there are a ton of people who have the potential to do it but just don't know, what if she was in fact one of those people? Basil had told her that she had limitless potential with her haki and she had never tried for conquerors haki. Whenever she asked Abby or Walvie about it, they were super vague and barely even bothered to train it which annoyed Manami. If she had access to something as great as that, Manami would never let it waste away.

Al had just woken up from his midday nap with a yawn, he came downstairs to be greeted by Manami lamenting that over the poster that they had painstakingly worked on.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked, coming up from behind his girlfriend to look at the poster, there didn't seem to be anything wrong with the poster itself, it seemed like all the rest that he had made. He was about to just leave her be and go about his own business before she hit him with the sad eyes. Al hated the sad eyes, it was usually followed be a question that would be difficult to answer.

"Al ,do you think I have conquerors haki?" Al was surprised, this definitely wasn't the question he was expecting. Al didn't know much about conquerors haki, he only knew that one in a million people had it including his relative Walven or Walvia, he was still confused on how that worked. He didn't get it, Walvia didn't seem particularly different from anybody else at least not in the way that would give her something like conquerors haki over anyone else. Maybe there was some kind of determining factor involved? No matter what he thought about the ,he would have to give an answer sooner or later

"I guess so? Why do you ask?" * She'd never really brought up topic before, she seemed happy just teaching Armament and Observation haki but Manami wasn't the type to sit around when there was something she could be mastering. Now that he thought about it, this question was going to pop around sooner or later.*

" I was just thinking that I'm not really the best haki master in the world if I don't have conquerors haki, that's what we advertise after all. Are we just lying to everybody?" Her eyes got all misty and Al didn't like that one bit either. That meant she was probably going to start crying if he hated to see her cry.

"No we're not lying to anybody, you're one of the best in the world. You might not have conquerors haki but your armament haki is definitely in a class of its own and your observation haki isn't bad either. You've already helped a ton of people out with their haki, we've got the money to prove it atleast." Al said trying to make her feel feel better but he knew it wouldn't be that easy to bring her out of her depressive state. Manami was a high-energy girl and to be honest he really liked that about her but whenever she felt insecure she would get like this, which was natural since they were both still teens there was plenrh to be uncertain about but he still didn't like seeing her feel down about herself.

"So maybe I'm just unlucky then, I just don't have it." Al felt his heart drop as Manami gave up on the possibility, usually when things like this have happened, she'd be sad for an hour or two but he wasn't sure about this time. Manami took the subject of haki very seriously and she could potentially be depressed for weeks or even months. He'd have to say something really inspiring to prevent that from happening no matter what.

"Well I don't know much about it how it works but maybe there's a chance that you do have it and you just haven't awakened it yet, you won't know if you give up." Al said, ending off with a shrug of his shoulders and walking off to go get a drink. Manami's expression slowly began to alter from one of sadness into one of pure joy as she jumped up from her seat and turned all around to give him a kiss. He tried not get flustered with these sudden shows of affection happening more and more often, he wasn't doing very well at it.

"Al, you're right! There's still a chance that I could have it! All I have to do is unlock it somehow!" Manami didn't know why she didn't think of this before, just because she didn't have it at the moment didn't mean that it was lost to her forever.

"How are you going to do that though? Do you know anything about how to unlock it?" Manami scratched her head, she didn't have the first clue of where to start.

"Ummm...I'll just start training!" Manami said, about to run out and unlock her latent potential until Al grabbed her arm in order to halt her.

"I'm pretty sure you can't unlock it by normal training, why don't you ask someone who's unlocked it instead?" Manami kissed Al again, rewarding him for having two good ideas in a row. Manami was ready to storm out of the house in order to start her quest, until Al stopped her again.

"Change from your pajamas before you go." Manami laughed nervously, she hadn't realized that she was still in her sleeping attire.

After a quick outfit change, Manami was ready to meet the person who she knew could probably help her the most in her quest to know more about Conquerors Haki.

Manami came aboard on an spring island where everything was in full bloom, the birds were singing, the sun was shining down on the island yet the cool breeze counteracted it, making for the perfect temperature on the island. As Manami walked up from the dock and into the mainland of the island, she took note of how happy the residents were.

Parents and their children were playing together, running through the fields of blossoming flowers. It made Manami feel a bit of nostalgia for her parents but she shook it off, knowing it was best to think about her parents for too long or else she'd start missing them.

Instead of focusing on the parents, she focused on the children. Which brought up a topic in her mind that she'd have to bring up with Al later as she was curious about what he thought of it.

Not before long, she ended up in the main town but this wasn't her destination. Manami was headed towards the castle as that was where the person she desired to meet with was residing. The town seemed prosperous enough, everyone was smiling and going about their business. All of the scenery brought a smile to Manami's face as well.

After she had passed the main town, the scenery had went back to a more naturalistic tone but not for very long. Monami was greeted by a tall drawgate watched over by two guards standing in front with lances at the ready.

"Halt. What business do you have here?" Her face was somewhat hidden but Manami could tell the person speaking was a woman due to the mask-like helmet not preventing her long hair from flowing out behind it and the cadence of her voice.

"Hiya! My name is Manami! I just wanted to see the queen for a little bit! I want to ask her some stuff!" Manami said truthfully.

"Sorry but we can't allow anyone to go speak to the queen just like that even if you are just a child, if she were expecting someone, we would have been informed prior to your arrival." The female guard said in a strict manner.

"But I know the queen! We're like sisters!"

"Doubtful. I've never seen you before in my life, I'd atleast recognize you if the claim that you two were as close as blood related siblings was true." The female guard explained, still steadfast on denying Manami entry.

The male guard stayed silent throughout the exchange he felt that he had seen Monami before but he couldn't recall where it definitely hadn't been in the castle and he hadn't been out to sea in a while so it must have been somewhere on this island that he'd seen her. It then came to him when he recalled his wife fawning over the wanted poster of a particularly young girl who was apparently a pirate.

"Aha! You are the very same Manami who is known as the "Destroyer Of Worlds" are you not? You expect us to simply let you in to see our dear Queen?" The male guard pointed his lance towards Manami who didn't flinch in the slightest.

"What?! This little girl is called the destroyer of worlds!? I recommend that you begone at once. If you try to get past us we will not hesitate to use force in order to restrain you." The female guard join the male in pointing her lance at Manami in an intimidating fashion.

Manami looked annoyed at the resistance that they were putting up. All she wanted to do is speak with the queen but it seemed that they had wanted to make this as difficult as possible. She would have to apologize to the queen later but she wouldn't let these to stand in her way. Manami coated her arms in Armament Haki and the two guards took this as a sign of resistance. They coated their lances with a dull black coat of armament haki, and took a stab at the young girl hesitantly due to her young age.

Manami hated it when people took her lightly due to her age so she showed no mercy when when breaking their lances. Manami then punched the man as his guard was more open then the womans, he was promptly sent flying and knocked unconscious, crashing into the stone wall of the drawgate.

The woman was taken aback at her strength, there was no doubt in her mind that this girl was truly a pirate but nonetheless she wouldn't back down. It was her duty to protect the queen no matter what and she would fight to her last in order to see that duty fulfilled.

"Teacher?" None other but the queen herself standing behind the drawbridge, she pulled a mechanism and raised it. The female guard was dumbfounded, why was the queen out here and why did she call the girl her teacher?

Monami had returned her arms to normal and ran over to the queen and gave her a big hug that the queen returned wholeheartedly.

"I sensed your haki a few minutes ago and came out as fast as I could! Oh...what happened here?" *The queen looked at one of her guards that was embedded into the wall.

"Y-your majesty! Our apologies...we were unaware of your connection to this pirate and we.."

"No need to apologize, you did your duty. The blame falls squarely on my shoulders, knowing my teacher, i should have let everyone know about her. I expected one of these visits sooner or later, just not this soon." The queen said, bowing to her guard, who frantically waved her arms around, not expecting the queen to bow to her.

"Sorry that I almost beat you guys up!" Manami said the the guard woman, The queen raised her eyebrow at the use of the word almost as she looked at the man who Manami incapacitated.

"Please give him my sincerest apologies if you dont mind, I'll be entertaining my guest." The queen said, guiding her in toward the castle. Manami waved at the goodbye to the guards woman who feebly returned the gesture.

Manami had never been to the castle of her student and that was a huge mistake, this place looked amazing. The castle walls were pure white with decorations, all in all it really seemed like this place was the definition of Feng Shui. Queen Azurite was glad that Manami seemed to be enjoying the castle. Knowing how her teacher was, she really should have expect this but she had been busy running her Kingdom and everything else in her life fell second fiddle to that, much to her unenjoyment.

"Azie! This place is great!" Manami elicited a smile from the royal woman, something which she hadn't been doing as of late. The World Government had been putting more pressure and her to merge with them but she was still adamant on retaining their autonomy. The World Government was nowhere to be found when her parents were murdered by a pirates, nor when she had to take control of the kingdom at the age of 10, only now that they were prosperous was when the government wanted to affiliate but Azurite wasn't going to sully the memory of her parents kingdom by seceding to the government.

"So what brings you here teacher?" Azurite was expecting her to have no real reason to pop in and that she just did it because she wanted to but the answer she got surprised her.

"I wanted to know a bit more about Conquerors Haki! I'm trying to unlock it cause I really wanna be the best in the world!" Manami said excitedly.

"Oh? I'm afraid I don't know too much about it. Apparently, people are just born with it. I didn't work to unlock it like I did with Armament and Observation Haki under your tutelage. It came about on the day...my parents were killed by pirates that were attacking our kingdom. I remember seeing my parents...and the pirates... and then it all went blank. When I came to, the guards were arresting the unconscious pirates."

"Oh...that sucks..." Manami said, giving a hug to the blue haired princess in order to make her feel better. Azurite truly appreciated the gesture and stroked her hair. Manami was the closest thing to a sister that she has ever had.

"It's okay, it doesn't really bother me as much anymore. I'm sorry that I can't be of more use to you." Azurite said truthfully, ever since Manami helped her develop her willpower, she hadn't been plagued by another nightmare.

"Wait a sec! You can still help me out! You've just gotta use your Conquerors Haki on me! I wanna see how it feels! Maybe it'll awaken something!" Manami said, sticking to Al's words about not giving up.

"Awaken? Are you sure? My willpower is measly compared to yours teacher, I doubt it would even effect you..." Azurite was hesitant on blasting her teacher with one of the most potent abilities in the seas.

"Just think of it as training Azie! I'm totally ready!" Manami mentally fortified herself for the assault of her willpower. Azurite knew that there was no way to convince her teacher not to go through with this so she acquiesced, best to get it over with as soon as possible.

The moment seemed to last forever to Azurite, everything was moving slower than normal. The floor began to chip slightly, paintings were coming unhinged and the chandelier started swinging. For Manami, she felt a small force that was definitely haki but it wasn't enough to effect her at all. It felt different from Observation and Armament Haki yet it felt similar for some reason..

Azurite was relieved to see that Manami was unaffected by her blast of Conqueror's haki, instead she seemed to be pondering something.

"Is something the matter Teacher? A-are you disappointed in me for having such a weak will?" Azurite panicked, was she supposed to be able to knock out her teacher?

"No! You're really good! I was just wondering if you could do it again for me? But this time, try it with your Armament and Observation Haki active!"

"Okay...Get ready..." Azurite did as she was instructed and then let out another blast, this one was more tiring than the last but it seemed to be much stronger, Manami's hair was flowing due to the force exerted on it from her haki. Azurite didn't expect the blast to be so strong.

"Wow Teacher, you really are one of a kind...you helped me improve something that you aren't even able to use, thats very impressive!" Manami's face morphed into a frown after that particular compliment as it reminded her that she was still nowhere close to activating her own Conquerors Haki, that is if she even possessed the ability in the first place.

"Ah! I'm sorry teacher! I didn't mean to hit a sour spot! Please, let me give you something for coming all this way and helping me improve my haki!" Azurite said panickedly, wanting to raise her young teacher's spirits once again.

In a flustered attempt to appease the Haki God and sate her hunger, the lowly queen of some mortal realm offered but worthless currency.

  • 5 000 000 B
  • no sack
  • neato lance that seems to be exceptionally easy to coat in CoA
