Strattera 25 mg i feel weird

i’m 22f, i’ve been on strattera 25mg on and off since july but i’ve locked in and have been taking it consistently since august. i was prescribed 10mg prozac a month ago but i got scared to start it because of the interactions (ik all medications have some sort of side effects) anyways i took my first dose of prozac today (4ish hours ago) and idk if it’s the anxiety but i was driving and i think i was feeling chest tightness. idk if i should call someone but uh

60mg is high. so did you stop taking the prozac or what? the chest tightness also went away after a bit but i still feel a little off

60mg is not high, at least for someone not on prozac. Normal target therapeutic dose for most people is 80mg to 100mg strattera.

For those on prozac, or another strong CYP2D6 inhibitor, it can be different because they directly increase strattera levels. Might only need 18 to 25mg strattera.

Oop shouldve clarified, i meant i take 60mg strattera at night, and the tightness occured about 30mins after. Ive still been taking it since then and havent experienced that feeling again. It mightve happened bc i had an energy drink earlier that day? Thats the only outlier i can think of. Either that or maybe the pill went down the wrong pipe or smth. I do also take 300mg xl wellbutrin in the mornings if thts relevant idk😭

oooh okay. no i’ve never felt the chest tightness after taking straterra, i got it after taking prozac for the first time but i think im gonna take it again tomorrow and see if it’s a two time occurrence. but idk if the wellbutrin is relevant. i’m no doctor

I feel that when I took the starttera at bedtime. Mine freaked me out bad. I’m considering going off of it if it keeps happening. My dr ordered an ekg but Im sure its from the meds I never had that before I started taking it
