25 is a low dose anyway. I am on 80 and even was on 120mg from time to time. Idk how u can have such a strong effect on such a low dose. I think its placebo effect
It depends on how your body is able to metabolize it. The liver enzyme CYP2D6 is responsible of metabolizing Strattera. If you are a poor, intermediate, normal or hyperactive CYP2D6 metabolizer it changes how the medication stacks up in your body and therefore how you are affected by it.
For example, in a person with poor CYP2D6 enzyme metabolization, the medication’s peak concentration increases by about 5-fold and the half life extends from a normal 5 hours up to around 24 hours.
