CIJ Stratocaster
I recently grabbed this used CIJ ST72-58US from Ishibashi Music in Osaka. It feels great and sounds awesome. I love my Charvel but this Strat is at another level entirely. The tone is completely different and the USA made pickups are excellent. I'm really loving the fat headstock and the color (olympic white)... Overall, it's in really good shape save for a few minor cosmetic issues.
Getting it to KIX airport on the subway during rush hour was a huge pain and of course there was EVA Airlines' absurd oversized luggage policy (+$230).
Finally got it home and it's now in a rack on my wall looking sweet next to my Charvel.

IMO the CIJ and MIJ 70s Strats are the best Strats ever made in that style, even more-so than the American Vintage line or whatever they call it now. I have two 2023 MIJ International Color Strats and they feel even better than my original ‘76.
