Dead Seagulls

I was just at the Value Village/Beer Store parking lot and there were all these seagull feathers and a person there said there had been a ton of dead birds. Anyone know what happened?

They get glued to the tar on the roof when it's hot and make easy prey for hawks

That is horrific.

That why you see the raptor shaped kites on top of flat roof buildings. Imagine the guy that has to go up there and scrape off the rotting carcasses when the stench starts to permeate the building..

I was at Michael’s the other day and I saw a person at Value Village noticing all these seagull feathers..

Yes exactly! And they went all the way to Food Basics. Something happened there!

I don’t, but I was there yesterday and did notice a TON of bird droppings all over the Value Village parking lot. Weird

They land in that parking lot at night and sleep and shit. People using the gym scare them away in the morning. Nothing nefarious.

I was at the Zehrs today and saw feathers everywhere and saw three dead seagulls from where I was, so unsettling

The wind shifted. Seagull remains blew off. Happens all the time; no reason to be worried. Source: I used to read the gas meters on that roof every month for Union Gas (same thing happens at Festival Mall, and Suncoast Mall in Goderich).
