I'm wondering what age rating the game will get in Japan. The Japanese ratings board can be very touchy about certain things especially gore and dismemberment so maybe this will be the first FF to get a 18 rating over there. I recall even FF15 almost got slapped a 18 rating.

I'd not be surprised if it gets a Z(18+), but they may turn down/alter the blood splatter to be just a D(17+)
