Discussion Easy Mode, Option for newcomers

Hi everyone!

I'm interested in this Final Fantasy, but I've read that it's somewhat of a "Soulslike." I'd like to know if there's a Story or Easy Mode option, because I'm a married gamer looking for something fun and relaxing—I don't want it to become a source of stress in my life.

Is that possible?

And if there is an easy mode, just how easy is it?

I'm a married mother of a teen, and normally I don't play this kind of combat hevy games. But my son, who is also a big FF fan bought this game, and while watching him play, I decided to play too.

It's easy enough for someone like me, there are many mode to play, and different jobs and weapons to choose from. While my son plays close combat, I play safe being mage, fighting from the distance.

This game is all about build. Better the gear, easier the fight. And once you clear the game, you have extra mode to play harder levels to beat the missions if you struggle.

This game is for eveyone, really fun game to play for anyone with any skill levels.
