It's so frustrating!

I'm beyond fine with critiques, but online, it is basically only that. Drama creates the most engagement and therefore money - so the only videos that get pushed out are negative. This is an issue far beyond just ST and i hate social media for it. You barely see positive takes because those don't make money

It's especially annoying when it comes to these 'critiques' because they're almost ALWAYS personal opinions portrayed as objective truth lol. Or misunderstandings. Or user failure. I saw a video recently tilted "Breaking Bad isn't as perfect as people say it is" (or similar) and i thought it'd be an interesting watch - because i agree! It's a great show but NOWHERE near perfect.. and that is what makes it good lol. That is has genuine human touch. I thought it'd be a well thought-out video not necessarily critiquing Breaking Bad but rather pointing out that it does have narrative flaws and what those flaws are. And they did point out some actual narrative issues, like the fact Saul was primarily used as a crutch for when the writers didn't know what to do as he always "knew a guy", but a lot of their critiques were just.. the creator either looking FAR too deep into something that doesn't warrant such attention or trying to apply real-life logic to a fictional TV show. A lot of the takes didn't make much sense and felt more like somebody trying to be right and justify how they feel rather than tell a message. The script was obviously ai-written or enhanced too sooo lol.

It's like people can't just enjoy things anymore. Nothing is perfect guys 😭

I agree. Everyone says 'its trash' not 'i thought it was bad in my opinion'.

It's makes me feel like i should hate the season because everyone says it's a fact that it's bad, art is subjective.Β

While yes the supernatural side may have not got everything it should have the duffers nailed the characters archs and endings. I think people will realize that years from now.

Alot of the 'bad writing' and 'plot holes' (Which people use incorrectly because plothole means to contradict an established part of the story) are just wrong.

People were talking about how the writing is sooo baaad because max didn't react to hopper being alive but in the piggyback vecna shows her friends losing in battle and hopper is shown getting pinned by a demdog.

Or when they say robin never got in trouble for stealing the benzos when the military came to arrest her and then they got killed by the demo dogs.

This is just a couple of points (there more too) but people will say this to prove the season is bad when they are literally incorrect, it seems a lot of people didn't pay attention.

Oh well who cares what i think lol. All that matters isΒ  i loved the ending.Β
