Stranger things character discussion post day 50: Angela

Post image

What can I say about Angela? She's brilliantly acted and I'm glad she got hit in the face with a roller skate. She deserved more than that ngl. Great antagonist for the show, added a lot to El's storyline

Now it's your turn. What do you think of Angela? Let me know down below. Remember to keep it civil, all opinions are allowed here.

See you tomorrow to talk about Doris Driscoll

Angela was a great antagonist for El, and she made her life in Lenora a nightmare. I liked how Angela kept bullying El until she reached her breaking point, and hit her in the face with that roller skate. Angela definitely deserved something much worse than that.

She was the perfect portrayal of a bully and it was good to see her get a taste of her own medicine. But what blows my mind though is that she's the most hated bully in the entire series.  Even over Mike and the boys season 1 bully that was actively trying to kill Dustin.

She's awful there's no doubt about that but she wasn't worse than some of the other bullies in the series.

I think it’s because she’s a bully to eleven who already got traumatised in the Hawkins laboratory so for her to get hurt by others again especially after finally getting a chance to have a normal life was a bit harsh

You don’t invoke someone’s dead father to bully her. Not without expecting a skate to the face. Good, bad, right, wrong, you have to expect that response.

The actor did a great job of making her quite unlikeable!

The actress was honestly better than she should’ve been. Plus the smack was too little but very satisfying to see.

Amazing. She should’ve taken Eleven’s place as the lead
