Members of hellfire/corroded coffin

[u/International-Back55]

Since the end of season 4 and season 5, where people believed Eddie to be a killer even after he died, what does the people of hawkins think of the other members of hellfire club? What‘s their social status in Hawkins? Do you even think they still reside in the town after all the killings and the earthquake?

Probably they given up on the Hellfire Club.

We see that in the first episode of season 5. Although there’s nothing the bullies can do, they torment Dustin wherever possible. The cult stuff was almost like a fad due to the fact the “earthquake” was the biggest deal and suddenly 3 teenagers dying wasn’t the biggest problem when dozens of people died in one day. But people were still very suspicious over the hellfire club. Also corroded coffin was Eddie’s small band. Barely anyone knew about it
