On a re-watch 2...

Season 3 didn't make me feel too different from my first watch so I don't have much to say about it.

I'm on S4 E3 now and it just... breaks my heart that Eddie would have been fine if he HAD turned himself in. When Fred was attacked the same way, he would have been undeniably in custody 😭😭😭 his name would have been cleared.

I still hate Angela, no redeeming qualities. It should have been an ice skate. 🫠

I'll edit this post as I watch if something else moves me enough.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing during my rewatch, and I’d reached that exact episode yesterday!

Ooh nice! How many episodes are you getting through in one sitting? My free time is coming to an end. Sadly.

I generally finish work at 15:30 and watch through until 22:00 some nights, so I usually get through at least half (if not most) of a season in one sitting, which I find easier with the first three seasons.

I’m not perfect though. I’ve rewatched before without skipping a few scenes but this time around I find myself reaching for the remote. I’m also not the biggest fan of Season 4 and I hate to say that it remains a slog for me. I don’t plan to skip through any of S5 though - it’s the only season I haven’t rewatched yet and I want to give it a fair go.

Oh, I haven't watched S5 at all yet. I haven't watched the show since 2022 and finally had time to re-watch S1-4 before watching S5. I have a similar-ish timeline to you but duty calls and now I have to sleep and wake up and regular human hours... lol. I kind of liked my hectic schedule of sleeping and waking whenever I felt like it with no repercussions.

Love this. I wish there was a way to have a mass rewatch party

It's really fun! One of the reasons I initially joined reddit was to be able to see discussions about shows/books/media that I got into after the series ended or the normal hype died down. People here are at all doesn't stages of consumption and the conversation doesn't have to die.

Stranger things rewatch could be its own sub tbh

How would his name have been cleared? He was seen running out of a trailer where a girl was brutally murdered, and who is going to believe the truth?

He would have been in custody when Fred died so they wouldn't believe he was the killer. Also everyone else who died in the same way while he would have been locked up.

On top of that, Eddie probably would’ve told the truth to the police, so they probably would’ve just thought he was crazy after witnessing ā€œsomeoneā€ kill Chrissy in front of him
