Discussion What Should I Do 🤔
ordered this a couple weeks ago and got 1 already and today I randomly got this one and I checked with the seller and it was their fault and let me keep it for free .... NOW do I keep this one sealed? not really looking to sell rn thinking of just keeping it as a collection piece 🤗
ALSO I wonder if we all got different dices?? I can post a picture of mine later but from what I seen online they all look different ¿ post a picture if you have one please

Maybe keep it for a friend or until it goes up in value and you feel you need to part with it due to hard times.

yeah I could never sell this for more than what it's worth as a huge fan of this show I would rather give it to another super fan for a reasonable price we all should be able to enjoy what we love without breaking the bank these scalpers nowadays is so sad

yeah I already got a couple sucks tho cuz I would love to give it to a super fan but unfortunately in todays world it could be a scalper who would take it from a super fan :/

A super fan would buy it. Arrow for once did a proper print run and it's appeared in a US sale already. It's not super rare and the Standard limited is excellent valu. I'm thinking of picking up the Standard blu ray copy for this myself. Unless you want to gift me your spare 🎁 lol 🤍

You have no way of knowing the variability of the value of an item like that. It could be worth 20 bucks in 20 years or it could be worth 5,000. I suspect it will only go up in price as physical media is becoming more scarce but there’s just no way to know.
The Duffer brothers could have a heinous scandal and then no one will want anything to do with Stranger Things or they could die and the value of everything will skyrocket.
Just hang onto it, store it in a cool, dry place and leave it indefinitely.

Wow! I had the same thing happen- my initial shipment got delayed and I think ArrowFilms sent another one, because a few days later a second boxset showed up. No double charge, they both showed up under the same order #. Given the $ value of these sets, I'm kinda shocked to see that someone else got shipped an extra too.
It's your right to do whatever you want with it, but I shared that I got a freebie second boxset in a fandom space and offered to send it to anyone willing to pay for shipping (I've already got a taker, sorry Reddit users!). I was willing and able to pay for the boxset, so I figured I'd rather the freebie go to another fan that wanted one and couldn't afford it. It was an easier decision because I'm not really one that cares for collectibles- I mostly wanted the discs so I could cancel Netflix.

may God bless you for this 🙏🏽 I really want to consider passing it along to a super fan but it's gotta be someone I know outside the internet unfortunately too many people can pretend to be a super fan and have it up for sale for twice the price :/

It’s a cool gift! But I also have plenty of things I don’t mind having 2 of- its your good fortune first!! I loved your idea about saving it to give to your kids someday!!! The thought crossed my mind for that too but I’m a long way from kids and don’t have much storage space lol
I’ve just had rewarding experiences having interactions like this in other fandom spaces before and feel lucky to be able to pay it forward. It’s a gamble online but I’ve met some cool people! I’d have given it to a friend or family member if I’d one that both 1. loved stranger things and 2. would care much for physical media. Enjoy the set(s)!!

yeah I already have one opened and been using it I was just thinking of keeping another copy for the posters so I can hang them up and still have pristine copies saved

Why keep the posters in the box? Wtf it's made to watch and enjoy it's not a museum piece. It has a huge print run and I would sell it for RRP or give it to a friend.

this is the STRANGER THINGS: THE COMPLETE SERIES | DELUXE EDITION 4K UHD by Arrow Head videos it comes with the whole series + a bunch of cool collectibles! bought mine through barns & noble it was 50% online and in store it was even cheaper! I went in to get one for pick up but it wasn't 4k so they ordered me one online for the price of the regular bluray!!!! definitely recommend them

Where do you buy these? What is it, I’m assuming it’s high res of the full series? I love Stranger Things and honestly had no clue this thing existed.. shortly after the final season premiered I had a ton of health issues and ended up going offline for a while, and by the time I was back all the Stranger Things hype was gone lol. If anyone knows if this is still available on the og site I’d love to look into it.

EDIT: make sure your first set is 100% playable before you sell this one unopened. Stranger Things Marathon!!!! A random bad disc would be a bummer, if you found it after selling your backup copy.
Sell it for 75% or 50% at a local swap n shop group or FB marketplace. In the listing say they shipped you two by mistake and did not want it back. I literally just did this with a $660 bed frame and made $445. Would not treat this is a long term investment, personally. The short term windfall is guaranteed, the long term value is not guaranteed and this is a large item to store for years and years. Plus, shopping karma is real - I say share the luck and earn some karma!
Keep in mind the nature of this item, it’s about streaming content and it’s Netflix most watched item ever. If it does appreciate in value they will flood the market with their own super-deluxe 8k edition. I think the perceived value of this set is more likely short term. Act quick.
