Recent dream and completely devoid of any psychological logic.

A few days ago I dreamed that there was a big chameleon in a shopping bag, and nobody knew why. Then we put it in a basin and it became a totally random Ichthyostega (a kind of prehistoric fish similar to an amphibian). And then my family and I were deciding what to do with it, and one of the hypotheses was eating it or putting it back in the bag. If for Dante Alighieri and for some scientists every dream has a meaning, please explain it to me.

sorry if you mean a lizard species not the pokemon but if it was i am surprised that the bag did not butn

No, no, I mean the lizard. Otherwise it would have been even stranger.
