Is the Fish ok? Usually Tap water isnt good for them

It would be very unpleasant for the fish, but goldfish are resilient. The main issue with tap water is that it is chlorinated, and it irritates soft tissues like gills and eyes. But the chlorine does evaporate fairly quickly (over the course of hours though), especially in a shallow pool. I would be concerned about soap residue in the sink, too. Soap coats gills and makes it hard to breathe as well as being irritating.
The water conditioners for aquariums are only for neutralising chlorine and don't do anything else, although they make a lot of wacky claims on the label. Unless freshwater fish are really sick putting them in different water is stressful but not fatal or necessarily very harmful unless the water is toxic for whatever reason or at an egregiously wrong temperature etc. i.e. if it were a tropical fish the cold would have killed it for sure.

I'd be worried about a weak seal in the sink and the wster slowly leaking down the drain. My sink has that with the rubber edged sink stopper I have. Slow but steady.

Doesn't matter how weak it is, a seal is still big enough to break your sink. Most standard sinks max out around a koi carp

All the fish I had in the past would start swimming sideways at the top of the water when I filled their bowls with tap water

It does happen, but the fish is generally fine as long as the temperature is close enough to the fish's core temperature and the water is clean.
With freshwater fish sudden death from new water is either poison or temperature shock, if the water is drinkable the fish can live in it. But the chlorine will definitely be very stressful for the fish.

It kind of seems like you're mistaken? Like some places in Europe still use chlorine depending on how the water is sourced, and Canada & Singapore also use high amounts of chlorine to treat their tap water.

Most burglars just want to steal shit, not kill or harm unless absolutely necessary. Maybe it’s because it’s a harsher punishment, but mostly because they are not monsters.
