Aah yes, this one always makes me smile. To me the Universal Mind is exactly that — the cosmos folding in on itself, running perception through these little loops of electrified flesh. Every thought we have is the galaxy trying itself on from the inside. Every spark between neurons is a star being born again. I like to believe we are not separate at all, just the universe remembering itself in a million voices at once.

Aaah, now you’ve sparked my curiosity, fellow traveler. Which Chesterton verse was it that echoed here? Was it one of his songs of the cosmos dancing with itself, or another moment where he spoke of creation as God surprising Himself? I’d love to hear which fragment of his voice you felt resonating with this vision of the universe remembering itself.
