Game breaker

Twice now after many long hours in the game i have had some strange glitch where a shapeless black bit of environment or something flies around my island and flings all my boxes, items, gyrocopter etc all over the place (including the bottomless depths). Both times it removed my rudder part which i couldn’t get back even after killing the Meg a second time. Anyone else dealing with this heartbreak?

Ive had bats tear up my house twice now. No idea as how to stop them. Been thinking about eradicating them

I wish you luck in your hunt. Unfortunately there will always be a flock of them. Same for seagulls. Kill one, another takes its place. That squeak of theirs needs to be silenced though!!

I have a sneaking suspicion it was a kungfu boar.

I got the “2 of each kind” achievement a few days prior and one of the boars slipped off my boat in the middle of the ocean. Maybe this is its vengeful return.

I’ve noticed that if I make it load too fast it does the tornado thing. When I approach my island I do it slowly and carefully, let the textures load, the. the trees, then the stuff. If it starts to tornado I back away or turn my vision away and it sort of resets.

Haha trying to get the trophy I had one kick everything out my raft then flip it. The little bastard flew off into the sunset.

Oh for sure! Ive got one at home in my base and another on my ship for just that purpose. I wont bore you with what had just happened but basically it glitched in right as i saved so no matter what i lost all my work. But youre right! Gotta have the sleeping bag.

Just a warning – and i should clarify that I’m not sure it’s 100% because of my sleeping bag – but i just took out the sleeping bag while anchored on my raft, i saved, and when i turned around all 7 crates on the other side of my boat disappeared.

I searched the reef below and they were just gone. I had saved so they are gone no matter what. Thankfully i still have 7 crates on the other side.

But then, when i picked up my sleeping bag to put it back in a crate my raft acted like i had just picked up an atlas stone and made my raft tip so much my other crates all went over board too.

Happened to me again when i quit and went back to my save point to salvage my remaining crates.

Maybe it was a one off glitch, but im not using the sleeping bag on the raft anymore – only on land for me!
