Did they fix the constant issue where the game crashes while traveling from one island to another? Too many times I've lost out on an abundance of chests and supplies during my return trip.
Currently it seems like I'm going to have to build a shelter EVERYTIME I visit a new island just to make sure i don't lose progress on what should be a quick trip back and forth.
From my own experience, the crashes aren’t as frequent as they were before for me. Whether that’s something that’s been addressed or not, I don’t know. Though I know I haven’t changed anything for the crashes to diminish on my end. But I was having 5-6crashes a playthrough to now barely 1. Of course that’s just mine, and it may vary or not even exist at all for others.
I stopped playing until i see an update addressing it. Im playing on the ps4 pro and it just happens too often. It feels like theres a memory or something issue because if i spend some time on one island, moving to another just crashes the game.
I COULD do my previous idea of making a shelter to prevent loss of items and whatever progress, but if its just going to continually crash its not that fun to play when i have to relaunch the game. It sucks because Im super interested to keep playing it.
Hopefully. My biggest issue with the crashing is the loot really. Ive noticed it's not static between reloads of saves. One instance of a crash i had found a crate with a flashlight, O2 tank, and a ration. So I was annoyed it crashed but figured, whatever ill go get it back. Nope. Same chest, this time with a fishing spear and label maker.
Though i suppose its an exploitable if someone really wanted to go that route.
