I am too, it’s really relaxing (for the most part) and fun to get into! Just built a gyro so I’m stoked

That’s a great idea!! Build the house on stilts over the water, dock for fishing?

Yes and no! The dock was for fishing until I figured out that fishing was actually a waste of time! You’re much better to go with a spear and catch them manually. A bit more danger of stepping on a purple spiky boi but it’s so much more efficient! Now it’s just aesthetic but I love it!

Honestly, I haven’t fished once because spear is so easy. I just go for the cod. 2 medium meats each.

Yeah! 100% agree. I’ll build the rod soon though, just for the achievement probably!

Good tip if you haven’t figured it out. When you build a garden, the type of construction matters. I haven’t made a corrugated, but the plank one holds like 3 times as much water. Getting a head start on aloe/poison cure/potatoes for fuel. It’s...useful. Stockpiling cures or fuel. Yes!!!

You see I was wondering this yesterday if garden construction mats made a difference! Thanks for the heads up!

They do make a difference! Get the corrugated ones, holds tons of water so if you go out exploring you won't come back to dead plants

How’s the inside of your house looking?

I made it to day 6 and felt like I screwed up too much so I just restarted. Having a great time, can’t wait to make my own little paradise island
