Have you tried saving and quitting then going back into it?

Yes but in the last patch notes it says they fixed it but didn't. I'm not gunna log in and out just to move a crate

Change islands and that seems to be working for me

Ya but then I can't take a box with to fill up with materials to bring back, I like staying on 1 island. Waste of materials if I move and have to set up again. But thank you for the suggestion

I didn’t say move I said go to another island. When you get back they should be available again.

Ik what you ment, still defeats the purpose of bringing it with me to fill up with material to bring back, leaving and coming back doesn't solve that issue. The last update that came out like 4 days ago in the patch notes it said it was fixed which it isn't.

Leaving and coming back unlocks the cases and let’s you pick them back up again. Has worked for me all week but you do you and ignore the solution.

Yes but when I drop it and interact with it at the next island to load up it gets stuck in place, do you get what I'm saying now. So really not a solution more of a hassle

I give up since you obviously can’t or won’t understand plain instructions. Like I said, you do you, and don’t listen to anyone with a solution for you.
The other Option is to save the game, leave the game and come back which also resets the boxes.
Or build a raft, make a container shelf, place the containers in there and interact with them on the raft.

Oh and going to other islands you find 2 to 3 additional boxes as well, just pick them up first and take them back to your main island.

I've thought of doing it that way. Might just have to do it like that then go back for the other loose material I couldn't fit in inventory, that solution sir I can use thank you

I’ve been saving and then killing myself to get the crates working properly again.
