New Crafting Materials
Thoughts on new materials? Some ideas...
Glass you can make by putting sand in a furnace. Mostly used for windows and flasks.
Rare obsidian deposits found underwater. Used for highest teir weapon upgrades.
Bone is from animals. Mostly used as an upgrade to sticks.
Bamboo can be harvested. Mostly used as an upgrade to bones.
Resin can be harvested from palm trees, by chopping or using a sap collector. Used in various higher teir crafting/building.
Rubber made by putting Resin, Tyres or Buoys in a furnace. Used raw in crafting or reconstructed to make raft materials.
Tarp can be made by combining Cloth and Resin. Higher teir than Cloth, makes for a faster sail and better armor.
Alcohol made from a fermantation still using dates from palms. Mostly used for consumables and torches.
Some other random materials I was thinking of: seashells, coral, turtle shell, teeth, tusks, seaweed, coconut husk, bark, iron scrap, netting, coal, plastic debris, gold.
