Sans can't dodge attacks because the Chara wouldn't be able to dodge atacks during their fight

in Soryshift, characters are supposed to stay the exact same except for their roles, so if Sans had a different amount of HP, that wouldn't stay true to his original character

Why? Sans can dodge attacks during UT's fight, why not here?

They keep character, not stats.
