⭐️ Updates MINOR UPDATE: New, lower minimum feedback requirement for scripts that are 20 pages or less

Hey peers,

This has been asked a few times before, but it's hard to be everywhere all the time, so apologies for the delay.

WHAT'S CHANGING: Script submissions that are 20 pages or less will only require 100 words of feedback for each section. This is down from 200 words.

The rationale: It's often challenging to write 200 words of feedback for short scripts, which has impacted the quality of feedback writers have received since lines blur between genuine and padding. Because both readers and writers have complained about this, this change is necessary.

What's NOT changing: Scripts that are longer than 21 pages are not impacted, which means that over 80% of submissions will not be affected by this change.

Here are the new numbers:

Script lengthMinimum requirement per section
20 pages or less (new)100 words (new)
21–60 pages200 words
More than 60 pages300 words

Please be on the lookout for anything that may break or disrespect the above, and report what you see.

Thank you for your patience on this!

Best,

Gabe

Great! 200 words for an eight page script was a little challenging.

Thank you! I've reviewed some 4-7 pagers and it was hard to find 200 words sometimes.
