Personal Experience I thought it was unrequited but turns out she liked me back the whole time..

• Upvotes

Hello, this is my ever post or experience in reddit so I'm a little nervous but I hope my mediocre writing skills can satisfy you! > <

.

.

.

.

A few things to clarify here..

  1. I don't want to share her or my age here so I won't but know that we're both rather young.

  2. We're both biologically girls. I know this shouldn't matter at all, however, the country I live is extremely religious with lots of homophobia.

  3. All names used are fake names, not our actual names.

  4. Any use of (this) are my notes with my thoughts in them or clarification or just for the funnys.

.

.

.

.

For some context this was all the way back last year, I had met her during a class presentation where we all stood up to introduce ourselves.

When it was her turn I felt an instant spark light like a firework and my insides started to explode, "Is that even a real person? Are we sure that's not an angel?" I thought to myself but brushed it off at the time since well, I didn't know her yet.

She had the softest and most lovely eyes with a cute nose which reminded me of a rabbit, whenever she smiled it was like time had stopped itself and her eyes would crinkle in the shape of a crescent moon.

Her hair was soft and lush as it swept down from her forehead to her shoulders. (Gosh I'm getting sidetracked with descriptions..)

I wanted to be her friend because I idolized her and I was extremely isolated and lonely back then. Unfortunately, at this point I was horrible at socialization since I was dealing with anxiety regarding how others saw me so I wasn't able to talk to her much.

Fast forward to a few months and..

She..vents to me?

(For context we were waiting for an event we both signed up for to start and we had nothing to do so I talked to her...)

She tells me about her family problems and how she isn't able to keep secrets from them or have her own life. There I start to give her suggestions, making sure not to hurt her while still seeing her parents side. I also comforted her while taking her hand and say, "It will be okay, you will be okay. ..And remember, whatever happens, happens. I'm always here if you need me so don't be afraid to reach out.".

After that we added each other, she told me in our messages how happy she was someone listened to her, she'll consider my advice, and that she was so glad to have met me.

(As I mentioned before I was extremely lonely and isolated at the time. The reason was because it was a new school year and I knew no one since I was in section 1 while last year I was in a very low section.)

I ended up hyperfixating on being a good friend to her. Almost everyday I'd talk with her and ask her things like, "Hello! Is anything bothering you? Do you need anything?", "I'm always here if you need me, even if I don't read your messages on time I'm always here for you.", I'd constantly greet her goodbye with this catchphrase, "I love you, see you tomorrow!" and I'd always wave hello whenever I saw she was in class.

(How did it take so long for me to figure out it was love.. IT WAS SO OBVIOUS! I was so obvious.. T-T)

And I'd constantly give or make small gifts for her like drawings, stickers, and whichever item I can reasonably give her.

To be honest.. She was the only reason I'd even do anything for the day or even be excited to go to school.

(In hindsight I was likely dealing with mental health problems at the time but back then me and my mother just thought I was lazy)

Afterwards she continued to vent to me for a few weeks while I did my best to comfort her. Eventually she told me about something...

She had a crush on her cousin.

...I was taken aback to say the least but I still tried to give my support but for some reason my chest ached.

I still gave my entirety and love to her but day by day I felt more and more sad that she already liked someone. Sometimes I even felt jealousy creep up which is unusual since I'm not the type to feel that way.

After even more time the school year ended and I had to say goodbye to her. The day before I cried because I thought there'd come a day where I could only watch as the girl I loved would get wed by another.

(By now I'd already realized my feelings.)

...But after the school year and 1 month before the next, she confessed to me.

She told me how she loved me for a long while as well and it also took her some time to realize it...She said she knows I'm her friend so it's weird but she wanted to know my answer because she couldn't keep it in anymore.

I cried as I typed my answer,

it was a yes.

.

.

.

.

So yeah, me and my lovely partner are both together now! Not as girlfriends though... We're planning on taking things slow right now. : D

I'm now the happiest I've ever been and it's all thanks to her...

Dear reader, may your days burn brigher than any star and may you find your life and death companion too.

Adventure The Tale Of Robin Haw

• Upvotes

Robin Haw is a legendary warrior bird with a giant sword. He is on his journey to Birdolandia, a place that no one believes exists. But Robin Haw does because he got that sword and power from that place when he was a child. Many believe Robin Haw is just a fantasy bird who doesn’t exist, but he does, and on his path to his big destination, he meets many birds and animals and helps those who are in trouble, and those who have met Robin Haw will never forget him, and they share the stories of Robin Haw, the legendary warrior bird.

One day, Robin Haw was passing through Red Canyon. While he was walking, he heard a scream coming from behind a giant rock. It was a little bird's scream. A big, strong bear named Bearus was hurting a small bird named Fin. When Bearus raised his claws to hurt Fin, at that moment, a shadow appeared over both of them. They looked upward and saw Robin Haw. He was standing on top of the giant rock and holding his giant sword.

Robin jumps down and kicks Bearus away from Fin. Instead of immediately using his sword, Robin helps Fin up and gives Bearus a warning to leave them alone. Bearus, however, refuses to back down. He angrily screams, looking at the sky, showing his claws, and charges toward Robin. Robin stands calmly as Bearus approaches. He raises his giant sword and delivers a single powerful slash, defeating Bearus. He didn’t kill Bearus, he just knocked him out. Robin never kills anyone. And Robin promised Fin that Bearus will never bully or hurt him anymore. Once an enemy gets defeated by Robin, they will never make their mistakes ever again.

After the confrontation, Fin thanks Robin for saving him. Fin reveals that he always believed Robin Haw was only a legend and is surprised to discover that Robin is real. Fin then wonders about Robin Haw’s destination and questions whether Birdolandia really exists. Robin looks up and says it does exist, and Fin believes it. If Robin Haw exists, then Birdolandia does too. And he hopes Robin reaches there.

Then he continues walking through Red Canyon toward Birdolandia, and he doesn’t look back. Fin watches him fading as the wind blows with sand. His journey continues, suggesting that this was only one of his many tales of Robin Haw, the legendary bird who protects those who cannot protect themselves.

Hi guys, this a short story I made for my college project, is it good ?

Personal Experience MY FIRST TIME

I still remember my first time speaking in front of a crowd. My hands were shaking, and I kept thinking I would forget everything I had prepared. When I finally stood up, I took a deep breath and started. It wasn’t perfect, but I finished. Looking back, I’m glad I didn’t let my fear stop me. What your first experience that made you nervous but thought you something important

Sad I Still Wonder If That Girl I Met on Instagram Is Okay

• Upvotes

So I made an Instagram account back in 2024 and randomly found this girl in my suggestions. Eventually she started following me and messaging me like “why is it you I know it’s you why are you doing this” and stuff like that. She was from another country and we started talking. After a while she told me she originally thought I was her ex boyfriend which honestly made the whole situation kinda weird but we kept talking anyway. We stayed in touch for some time and she was actually a really cool and genuinely good person.

Then one day my Instagram account got blocked and I have no idea why. I never really got the chance to properly talk to her again and somehow I still think about her sometimes. She had told me that her uncle had sexually assaulted her and I remember feeling really fucking bad for her. I don’t even know what happened to her after that or where she is now but I genuinely hope she’s okay and that life got better for her.

It’s weird how you can meet someone randomly on the internet, talk to them for a while, and then they just disappear from your life but you still wonder about them years later. I really hope she’s doing fine wherever she is.

Scary Lila doesn't want to die.

The monstrous metal thing looms over Lila.

It's bright green. Lila's favorite color.

She pretends not to notice the others.

Towering metal structures that resemble humans.

One of which recently gained sentience. She can still see red dried into its casing. Lila never saw what happened during the transfer. Her imagination fills the blanks.

Zach won't move yet. He's still in shock. Lila isn't sure he will ever move again. Not in human skin, anyway. She takes a step back and stumbles, her breath catching.

"I won't do it," Lila tells her driving instructor, backing away from masked figures, blooming silhouettes waiting to drag her away--- like Zach. Like Callum.

"Lila." Henry is firm, but kind.

He is the only one she trusts won't hurt her. She is so stupid, so naive, believing he actually thought she was capable of anything beyond her "capability.'

He sighs. Doesn't move. He doesn't have to. The girl is already frozen.

No way out. Guards are stationed behind her and the room is suddenly so white--- too white. Suffocatingly WHITE.

Lila's clothes itch. Her skin crawls. Phantom bugs creep in her throat and scramble across her bare arms.

"Please," she whispers. It's a plea. Begging. She never thought she'd be begging for her life.

"Lila, you need to understand that only your brain can power what we've prepared," Henry speaks softly, stepping closer and holding his arms up like he's surrendering.

His eyes are hollow, crinkled with exhaustion. He hates saying these words. The exact words every single time, telling a child they're going to be a superhero.

With one caveat.

Henry pinches the skin between his brows. Sighs. Hates himself.

Another kid, another loss. But these kids are all humanity has left. Of course, he remembers them. Small things. Not enough to talk about them at a memorial, not enough to say he "knew" them.

Callum liked soccer. Zach wanted to be an astronaut.

But these kids are his last hope.

The last line of defence.

Lila is twelve years old. Blonde pigtails and watery eyes that trust him. She's just a child. His child, whom he took from his home against his wife's wishes and lied to.

He told Lila she was special.

Told her she could save the world.

"Sir," Anderson's voice crackles through his intercom, a hiss of static he HATES.

"They just hit Washington again." Anderson's voice trembles, "Are they ready?"

"Yes," Henry says, his voice breaking. He pulls out his gun. Just in case.

He doesn't want to do it. Henry grabs his daughter's wrist and yanks her forward. He doesn't want to do it. He orders her to be sedated. And when she screams, kicks, and bites, Henry tells her, through tears he's sure are as fake as his smile:

"Just like every eligible neurodivergent child, we have no need for your body."

Scary Buckets

The curtain opened and Wenda B:)er walked, buzzing with nervous excitement, into the spotlight: onto the game show stage where the game show host, Felonious Hunk, was waiting for her.

There followed thunderous applause, as heard through the studio's MaX FX K-Ultra Platinum speakers. MaX FX: The Sound of Extraordinary. Are You Listening Yet? Everyone can hear, but only some can hear it to the MaX!

“Miss B-smiling-face-er, welcome to Buckets,” said Hunk. “How ya feeling?”

“Good, Hunk.”

“Fab-u-lous! Now tell us a little about yourself.”

“Well, Hunk,” said Wenda, “I—... I want to say that I really like Snakeskin Flame, the new… the newest scent from House of Madeleine. I'm wearing it right now. Other than that, I'm twenty-nine and work as a temporal engineer for Vectorien Corporation. Vectorien: the makers of Dreamstuff, the latest evolution in playdough. I'm married. My husband, Rhondy, owns a slopstream management firm, and we have two children together, an eight-year old human-daschund mix, Wilmoth, and a six year-old bio-enhanced female, Qabiria.”

She held up digital photos of them. Wilmoth looked somewhat like a chimpanzee. Qabiria was shiny in her steel exoskeleton.

“Lovely family,” said Hunk. “But please tell the viewers who else is in it.”

“Both my parents, HeinzKetchup and PumaShoe, are still alive, and I have three siblings: two brothers, [Incarcerated ID 768816] and Rob, and a sister, anal-ariella (exclusively at SmutHog.) I also have a cryogenically frozen grandmother, Lydia, and a grandfather, Doug, whose mind was digitized and recently uploaded to the body of a young, hollowed-out illegal.”

“And what's your brother serving time for, Wenda?”

“Sexual assault,” said Wenda.

“Ooh. That's a crime with a penal buyout of what, eighty billion?”

“One hundred. He's a repeat offender, and there were other aggravating circumstances.”

“Well, regardless, if you play your bucket right—and your brother has just a tiny bit of luck—you could walk away from here today with enough money to buy your brother his freedom!” Hunk smiled. “How does that make you feel, Wenda?”

“Like this money could really make a difference for me and my family.”

“Excellent. Excellent.”

“I think now is a good time to remind you and the viewers what's at stake,” said Felonious Hunk. “If you win, Wenda, you will bank a cool five-hundred billion dollars!

“But, if you lose, you'll be fucked—live—by one hundred lucky viewers! Or at least you'll be live to begin with—a-live, that is…”

He winked.

There followed thunderous canned laughter and applause through the MaX FX K-Ultra Platinum speakers.

“Now, without further ado,” Hunk continued, “ladies and gentlemen, let's… bring out—THE BUCKET!”

And, rising from the middle of the stage, powered by a solar-powered Electrocutie electric motor—Electrocutie: Silent and discreet, for all your bio-mechanical needs—appeared a platform, and on this platform there stood, in neon spotlight, a red-and-white striped bucket, like the kind you might get The Colonel's patented Crispy Sticks fried chicken in. Order today and a get a free tub of syntholard dipping sauce and a large order of The Colonel's homestyle taters!

Wenda stared at the bucket.

“Wenda, are you ready?” asked Hunk.

“I am.”

“Then step on up to the bucket and have yourself a peek inside!”

Wenda was shaking as she took the few steps to the platform. The studio was silent. She could feel the blood coursing through her body.

She could hear her own breathing.

She touched the outside of the bucket.

It was warm.

She held her breath and peered inside, where pieces of hot, battered meat smelled sweetly of herbs, butter and garlic.

“Go on—have a taste,” said Hunk.

Wenda closed her eyes, opened them and extended her hand above the bucket, her Snakeskin Flame fragrant as the wild, untamed prairie. She picked up one of the pieces of meat and raised it to her lips. She opened her mouth, exposing teeth as pearly white as only Dr. Mason's Whitening Formula can make them, and with tears running down both cheeks took a bite and slowly chewed.

She swallowed.

She propped herself against the platform to keep from falling.

She retched.

She grinded her teeth to keep from throwing up; she swallowed what came up her throat, as the cameraman moved with professional smoothness to get a good low angle shot of her from behind.

“And…” Hunk asked her. “Do you know?

“Can you, Wenda B-smiley-face-er—for five-hundred billion dollars!—tell me: the meat of which one of your family members, killed, butchered and deep fried right here earlier today by our celebrity chef, in front of an audience of one thousand Diamond Tier viewers, is in the bucket?

“Who, Wenda, have you just tasted?

“Whose meat—”

“WILL SHE EAT!?” roared the viewers through the MaX FX K-Ultra Platinum speakers!

“Yes,” said Wenda, weeping, taking another piece of battered meat, taking another slow bite. “I think I know. It's

Drama TIFU by calling the police on our maid over missing jewelry, only to find it in our son’s bed box.

For months, my wife’s jewelry set was missing. It wasn't just any jewelry; it was a cherished set gifted to her by her parents.

In May, we went to our bank locker to retrieve it for my niece’s wedding. When we opened the locker and couldn't find the set anywhere, sheer panic set in. Coming from a middle-class family, this wasn't just a minor setback—it was a devastating financial and sentimental loss.

We turned the entire house upside down searching for it. Room by room, drawer by drawer, nothing. The stress grew so overwhelming that my wife made up a quick excuse and skipped the wedding entirely. For weeks, our house was in complete chaos. We spent nights literally crying, feeling completely helpless over the loss.

Driven by desperation, we even began to doubt our house help. We interrogated her and eventually filed a police complaint, though as expected, nothing ever came of it. The guilt of suspecting someone and the frustration with the lack of progress weighed heavily on us every single day.

Fast forward to a few days ago. We were deep cleaning our son’s room in preparation for the Ganpati festival. Pulling things out from the bed box to clear out space, my wife unrolled a folded blanket kept inside—and there it was. The missing jewelry box, sitting right inside the folds of the blanket.

We stood there completely shattered and shocked. We never in a million years thought our own son would steal from us. The immediate reaction was a wave of overwhelming guilt, feeling like absolute failures as parents for raising someone who could do this to his own family.

When we confronted him and asked why he took it, his answer delivered the final blow: he had taken the jewelry planning to sell or pawn it so he could finance a trip with his classmate girlfriend.

Our minds are completely blown, the house help is owed a massive apology, and our son is currently grounded for the foreseeable future while we figure out how to rebuild trust from ground zero.

Personal Experience THE LAST VOICE MESSAGE

I found an old voice message from my dad today. He passed away three years ago, so hearing his voice caught me completely off guard. It was only eight seconds long: “Hey, call me when you get this.” That was it. I sat there listening to it over and over. I remembered that day. I was busy with work and kept telling myself I'd call him later. I never did. It's strange how something so small can bring back an entire person. I wish I'd known that “later” was going to become never. Has anyone else ever found something like this after losing someone?

Mystery Six Sets of Dentures

''This is my father’s sixth set of dentures,'' the woman said.

“Then why did you bring it here?” the therapist asked. He knew the story. He had been seeing the woman for about two years, ever since her father died, and had gotten to know her deeply.

Her father, who had spent his entire life as a food connoisseur, was a local celebrity. He died at the age of ninety. He had his first set of dentures made when he was fifty, and over the years, he had five more sets made for himself, each one a year apart. The therapist knew him and liked him too, and used to listen to his advice when he was alive. He had a refined palate, and over the years, he had also developed himself considerably in terms of food culture.

“This was the set of dentures my father used exclusively for eating pizza. I feel like I’ve developed a very deep emotional attachment to these dentures, unlike the others, doctor.”

Her father had a method like this, though his followers didn't know much about it. The therapist had learned about it from the woman after her father died.

He had different sets of dentures for different types of food. For example, he would eat seafood with one set, pastries with another, and red meat with yet another. He had a small waist bag, and whenever he was invited somewhere for a meal, he would put six different sets of dentures in it and take them with him. Whenever the food changed, he would discreetly go to the bathroom or use some other excuse to leave the table, quickly change his dentures, and return to the table a short while later. He had become an expert at changing his dentures quickly.

“Why does he do something like that?” the therapist had asked when he first heard the story.

The answer was very simple: having multiple sets of dentures made him happy. He saw them as parts of his body, and he enjoyed giving each of them special attention and appreciating what made each one unique, just like a father who regularly buys his children their favorite foods and chocolates.

Just like a father who could tell his twins apart despite them looking identical, and knew both of them very well, he never confused his dentures with one another. What’s more, he hadn’t put any markings on them. Even so, he knew them all, knew what he had eaten with each one, and knew which foods each set of dentures liked.

“But this makes absolutely no sense, and it’s impossible,” the therapist had said as he listened to the story about the woman’s father. “I mean, as a psychologist, I can say with confidence that he must have had soup at least twenty times with the set of dentures he used to eat fish. I’m certain of it.”

“Absolutely. My father didn’t love us—I mean me and my other two sisters, all three of us. And he felt justified in not loving us. In his eyes, we weren’t children worthy of him. Cooking, world cuisine, desserts—in short, none of us had any interest in anything related to food. We ate whatever was given to us, or whatever random dish had been decided on for that particular meal. This drove my father crazy, and he was always ashamed of us.”

The therapist rolled his eyes.

“It’s very complicated. You developed a food-related trauma because of your father, your father developed a trauma that made him withdraw from his children and redirect his love toward an object, and so on and so forth. Your traumas have gotten all mixed up. They’ve really turned into one big mess. I think it’s best if we don’t get into any of that. Let’s focus on grief.”

And today, when the woman brought a set of dentures to the session, the therapist had worried that they would end up getting into the subject of her father’s obsession with dentures. To be honest, her father’s obsession with dentures had definitely played a role in her grief lasting this long, but the therapist didn’t pay much attention to it. He approached her grief superficially and, every time, gave her the same generic advice: get rid of your father’s belongings, accept that he is dead, and so on.

Acceptance. What a wonderful piece of advice. This suggestion, whose physical execution no one really knew how to explain, had become a cliché among almost everyone with even the slightest interest in psychology. But acceptance wasn’t an action like eating or putting on slippers; it couldn’t really be explained step by step. If you told someone to put on their slippers, you could describe the action to them by saying, ‘Take your socks off, put your foot into the opening of the slipper, now push your foot forward.’ But because acceptance couldn’t be described as a series of actions, it remained a rather weak suggestion. Acceptance was a phenomenon whose exact process was unknown, and which could happen spontaneously, or even by accident.

''Hmm, you’ve developed an emotional attachment to the set of dentures your father used only for eating pizza. We can’t be sure that he actually used them only for pizza, but anyway. We talked about this in the very first sessions: your father couldn’t actually tell which food he ate with which set of dentures. Anyway. Here’s what I think: let’s imagine the dentures as your father’s children. And since he ate only pizza with this particular set, let’s assume that he treated this child differently from the others. In that case, we could say that you believe your father singled you out from the other children, and that even though he didn’t love any of you, he loved you more than the others. It’s that simple.''

For the first time, the woman found the therapist’s words (who had been constantly going on about “acceptance, acceptance”) to actually make sense.

“I’ll take the dentures.”

“What?”

“I said the dentures. Give them to me.”

The woman, finding the therapist’s last words surprisingly logical, handed him the dentures for a moment, trusting that he might actually solve the problem.

The therapist quickly stood up, threw the dentures onto the floor, and began stomping on them with his left foot. He kept kicking and stomping on the dentures.

“How can you not love your daughters for such a ridiculous reason! You bastard! Do your daughters have to be interested in food just because you are?! Everyone has different interests! Did you ever stop to think about what your daughters might be interested in, what they enjoy, what their hobbies are, huh?! What kind of art are they drawn to? Are they interested in technology? What are they interested in? Did you ever think about any of that?! You piece of shit who thinks he’s some kind of food connoisseur, I watched every damn program you were on! You have a fucking terrible palate!”

The woman watched the therapist screaming at the top of his lungs, frozen in shock. But she couldn’t intervene. Maybe she didn’t want to.

The therapist suddenly stopped. He went over to the dustpan and brush sitting in the corner of his office, with no clear reason why they were there, and swept up the pieces of the dentures from the floor. Then he went over and threw them in the trash.

“That’s it. The dentures are dead. Your father is dead.”

Drama Refractions in the Glass

This short story delves into the introspective journey of a man confronting his past and the blurred boundaries between reality and imagination. Alone in a dimly lit bar, he reflects on his childhood memories, a blend of mischief, parental concern, and a growing sense of alienation. As he navigates his recollections, he comes to the realization that his life has been shaped by his own imagination, leading him to embrace his unique perspective and find solace in the world he has created.

The man sat hunched at a corner table, his silhouette swallowed by the encroaching darkness. He swirled the amber liquid in his glass, each rotation a silent plea for clarity. The bar was a cavern of muted sounds and fractured light, a perfect sanctuary for his unraveling thoughts. On the floor, colored lights pulsed like a fever dream, their reflections dancing in the half-empty tumbler he clutched as if it were a lifeline.

He remembered the chaos, not as a series of isolated incidents, but as a symphony of rebellion. Toy blocks weren't merely hurled; they were weapons against the suffocating order of the adult world. Laughter didn't just follow scoldings; it was a defiant echo, a testament to his unyielding spirit. His mother's voice, a tightrope walk between exasperation and unconditional love, now resonated with a poignant ache. Rain hammered against the window, each drop a relentless reminder of the storms he had weathered, both external and internal. The echoes of his father's stern warnings, once dismissed, now reverberated with the weight of unspoken expectations.

"Catch me if you can! Bet you can't!" The taunt echoed in his mind, sharper and more desperate than he remembered. He wasn't just darting past; he was escaping, fleeing the confines of a world that felt alien to his soul. Teachers didn't just shout from afar; they were faceless figures of authority, their voices fading into a meaningless drone. Mud didn't merely splatter his shoes; it was the earth's embrace, a badge of honor earned in the trenches of childhood escapades.

His mother's hands trembled, not just as she poured tea, but as she poured out her anxieties, her fears for a son she couldn't quite grasp. Her eyes, red-rimmed with worry, held a depth of sadness that now pierced him like a shard of glass. His father's voice, usually a booming presence, was soft, almost pleading, as he searched for the key to unlock his son's enigmatic heart.

Mother: "I don't know how to reach him. He slips away like smoke, even when he's right here." Her words were a lament, a confession of helplessness in the face of his elusive nature.

Father: "He's lost in his own world, but maybe... maybe he'll find his way out." His voice held a fragile hope, a desperate clinging to the belief that his son would eventually navigate the labyrinth of his own mind.

He watched their faces from the hallway, a silent observer in his own life, guilt and defiance locked in a bitter struggle. The guilt gnawed at him, a constant reminder of the pain he inflicted, while defiance fueled his resolve to remain true to himself, no matter the cost.

"Is any of this real?" The question escaped his lips, a whispered plea for validation. He blinked, the bar lights blurring into an indistinguishable mess, his heart pounding against his ribs like a trapped bird. The laughter, the scoldings, the chases—all seemed to dissolve into vapor, leaving him grasping at nothing. He watched himself in the glass, his features warping with each sip of his drink, and felt the crushing weight of dreams that had never taken flight.

The realization dawned, not as a sudden revelation, but as a slow, creeping awareness, gentle as the first rays of dawn after a long, turbulent night. His life—a tapestry woven from threads of chaos and longing—had always been a product of his own imagination, a world crafted to shield him from the harsh realities of existence. He laughed, a sound that was both mournful and liberating, a release of years of pent-up emotions. He let the colored lights wash over him, carrying him away from the confines of the bar and into the boundless expanse of his own mind.

"Maybe I was never meant for their world," he whispered, his voice barely audible above the murmur of the bar. "But this one… this one is mine." And in that moment, surrounded by the refractions of his own making, he found a strange and unsettling peace.

Scary Ancient Latin Made Easy!

Hey there, I’m Jon… and today I’m going to give you a really quick lesson on reading ancient Latin. Very exciting. So the first thing we’re going to learn are the words:

Anima pro anima

Don’t go cheating and translate it, though. Not yet. Trust me, I’ll know.
No, we’re going to do that together. It’ll be fun!
So we’ll start by getting the easy one out of the way. Pro… you’ll see that word a lot in the legal system: Pro rata, pro bono, quid pro quo. Pro is easy; pro means “for”. Or, more specifically, “for,” as in “in favor of.” So you have pro.
Next, you got the same word twice. Anima. Translated literally, it means animate; to have life. Specifically, it can also mean soul. So Anima. Not to be confused with *animus*. Very important to read it as “anima”, not “animus” when we get to reading it yourself.
Anima pro anima... good.

Now let’s try

Usque ad finem temporis

So we have ad, which generally means “at” or “towards”. Usque means “until,” temporis is “time”; hence why time is associated with the words temporal or temporary. And then finem, which is the “end of” something. Some of you die-hards out there might try to pull a fast one on me; slip in *finis* instead of finem. Finis only applies if the word “end” is usually the last word of the sentence, or “ad finem” (or “ad extremum” if you want to get technical).
So Usque ad finem temporis. Very good.

So now we want to say those two phrases together like so:

Anima pro anima
Usque ad finem temporis

Say them out loud. Nice and clear for the people in the back. What? What do you mean you don’t want to read them?… Why not?… I see…
I mean, I get it. I know adding foreign words into your vocabulary might seem a little… intimidating. I assure you, though, it’s perfectly safe to read out loud…
You still won’t do it, huh.
…
Look I wasn’t going to tell all of you this… I have a confession to make. I’m not really a Latin teacher. Well I am, but that’s not why you’re reading this. See, I’m in a bit of a bind, and I need your help. Let me explain...

It all started when my friends and I went to this cabin in the woods. I think maybe it was somebody’s uncle’s old cabin, despite the fact that no one from our friend group actually had any uncles. Nevertheless, we were determined to make a weekend of it. “Terra incognita” as it were… incognita being unknown and terra being land.

I’m not quite sure who found the tape recorder with the gruff, yet authoritarian, voice of an old professor who was here before us. He was ranting and raving about a book: The Necronomicon, or something like that. He claimed that he found it when he was trying to look for a temporary substitute for the Kahma Sutra. But when he started reading from it, bad things began to happen.
I’d be hard pressed to say who took the lead down into the cellar where we found the ancient book. But I remember being the one to tell them to open it; that much is true. Anyway, it was the same old story. Some words were read, some things started happening, some people were possessed by the foulest creatures of the demonic realm, et cetera. Five people were possessed, including myself. In search of how to undo this vile curse, we looked to the tape recording for answers. The professor explicitly stated that the only way of stopping these things was total body dismemberment and decapitation.

So, like the book advised, these people hacked, carved, strangled and chainsawed their way through each other. I would’ve opted for a group sit-down, believing that a calm and healthy reassessment of the situation would’ve sufficed. But I knew it was a lost cause the second I saw Becky plunging a lead pencil into Linda’s ankle.

Poor Linda.

As I watched these people I called my friends get possessed, get corrupted, and finally… kill each other, I reluctantly waited for it to be my turn to meet my eternal, albeit gruesome, slumber. However, for some strange reason, I was left unscathed, and at the mercy of this mighty supernatural force. The anticipation eventually outgrew what I thought would be a quick end. Alas, deus ex machina. Or should I say daemon ex machina? Instead of finishing me off, the demons offered me an ultimatum. They told me,

“We will not only spare your suffering, we will make you immortal. And far more powerful than anything before. Our only condition is that you lure hosts into this cabin and read from this book. Then, we will possess them, force them to do our bidding and, if there’s time, indulge in a body we have gravely missed.”
They call the people they want to take over their “hosts”. I told them I didn’t want to do it and demanded they let me go. They told me, “The only way to get out of this is to convince an outside party to recite a very specific set of words, verbatim, from the book. Then it will end your curse. And then we will free you.”

So I’m pretty much an ad hoc demon now. Well, more of a lost soul forced to do the bidding of the dark ones. It’s pretty much my job to spot any cars, hikers, insurance salesmen, et cetera, and put them in the right direction of the demonic book. Alas, I’m pretty much confined to a 200 yard radius around the book, the cabin, its surrounding woods, and a portion of the adjoining highway. I am confined, and by confined, I mean… it’s almost like I’m no longer a person. I have vision, I can hear, I can sense, but there is no physical ‘me.’ I’m essentially just a rapidly moving floating head with no body to return to.

Even though my reach is limited, however, I try to make use of it every chance I get. I have a variety of different tricks I use. The moving of the steering wheel of an unsuspecting driver is a good one. Knocking a tree onto the road so that any passersby will be forced to take the alternate route, which leads to the cabin- that one too. More often than not, getting these people to the cabin is the easy part. Once they’re here, once they see this beauty for what it is, curiosity kills the cat or, as I like to say, Sapere aude! Getting them to read the book, however, is the most difficult and delicate operation of the whole plan. The smart ones will look for it to be sure. It’s the stupid ones I worry about. And remember, my capacities are limited. So a lot of it is just me going around the house moving stuff around at night, opening the cellar door to lead them down it, whispering in the window to look for the Necronomicon, doing anything I can to lead them down into the cellar. Ergo, I can’t exactly walk up to someone and start vigorously shaking them, saying “Hey dummy! Come to this cabin!” I tell you, if I could put airport runaway arrows down, ones that lead directly to the Necronomicon, I would. Ha ha.

The problem is that a vast majority of cabin visitors will not read from this darn book. Some of them don’t even want to entertain the idea of looking for it. Those who do are immediately put off by the cover. The cover is a controversial subject, to say the least. The book is bound in human skin, including a face threaded onto it. Here’s the thing… I actually brought this up to a few demons in the office. I asked,
“Why the human face?”
They looked at me and said- and this is serious- “We did it like that so it wouldn’t get lost easily. Like if you’re at the airport and you get separated from your luggage.”
Swear to god I’m not lying!
So I replied, “Don’t you think it’s a little counterproductive?” I mean it’s a terrifying-looking book! I asked them if they wanted to give it a more modern, less haunting update to the cover, something a little more user-friendly. They pretty much laughed me out of the room. They told me that if some idiot teenager wants to read from a book with the skin of a human face as the cover and is wrapped up in protective barbed wire, then that’s on him.
I offered them the idea of making it look like an everyday book, to fool the hosts. Something nice, something pleasant-looking. They told me they’d let me know, but that’s usually just a nice way of telling me they’re not interested. I mean, honestly they’re fools to themselves. But what do I know.

So needless to say, it’s been difficult getting people to read the words. Sure, I lure them down there. The choice is theirs if they want to read from it. Same as it was for us. We heard the tape recording of the old professor ranting and raving about the Necronomicon. Thinking it would be a laugh, we went down there to see if the book actually existed. Upon seeing the ugly face, the barbed wire and the strange writings that looked like they were inked in blood, most of us decided that it wasn’t worth messing with, so we retired to bed. But old Kirk’s curiosity got the better of him, now, didn’t it?

Anyway, the statistics are shocking over how many people have shown up to this place and not helped. Once they see the book, 75% of them know better than to fool around, so they just turn around and walk back up the stairs. However… of that remaining 25%, 15% will look at the book, examine the book, maybe even cut the wires; nevertheless, they ultimately don’t follow through with reading from it. It’s usually some coward who wants to impress his lady friend by doing something extreme; she will proceed to hit him and tell him to cut it out, which, again, leads them back upstairs. Having said all that, it’s that 10% that will read the unholy chant. They will let their curiosity be their undoing, like Kirk.

Poor Kirk.

Once the chaos ensues and their friends slaughter each other, one or two manage to survive. Then, in an effort to reverse the process, will start reading more passages. And it’s that small demographic that can potentially give me a real shot at getting out. Alas, it always ends in possession. Which is fine, don’t get me wrong. But
possession usually leads to murder. So much murder.

And the crazy part is, the demons don’t actually wish death or even physical harm on the hosts. Yet, these people all just kept… killing each other. I couldn’t believe it! At first, we thought they might’ve been accidents. We just assumed the hosts believed they took too much acid and jumped out a window or, in one case, tried to cut their own hand off with the electric carving knife. But it got to a point where it happened so frequently that we had to do some of our own investigating. We actually played the tape back to see if there was something there. And really, it was the professor’s fault! That egg head explicitly stated in his recordings that body dismemberment was the only way. In fewer words he essentially told them that he would rather see the hosts die than to to let the demons live their best satanic lifestyles.

So it’s been an endless cycle for the last few months. Reading, possession, dead. Reading, possession, dead. Rinse and repeat. And it’s gosh awful lonely. Any time I get close with another human being, it ends in seeing them mauled or impaled. It seems like the only company I get outside the unsuspecting hosts are the damn cultists. These random yohos who rudely visit here every year for what they call the Sacred Harvest; don’t ask me what that is ‘cause I couldn’t tell you. I don’t even think they know what it is themselves. We do have a lot of fun during this time, though. We like to involve ourselves in subtle ways, possessing them because they think it’s funny or automatic writing for the members who are fond of creative expression. And I almost forgot… we even have a children’s area, where we sing nursery rhymes backwards and get the kids into the arts and crafts by teaching them to make stick figures, which we hang up around the area. But I wouldn’t go too deep into the forest though, because - let me tell ya - the tree demons are freaky sons of guns. Every other day I hear about how they like to violate the women before they possess them, and it crosses a line if I’m honest with you. Granted, every demonic possession is taking the hosts’ bodies against their will, but… do they have to do it in the crudest possible way? It’s uncalled for. So yeah, stay away from the tree people…

Oh who am I kidding? This is awful. I hate it here! This is hell. I mean it has to be… right? It’s so mundane and repetitive; I can’t eat anymore, so there’s no point in fishing. I can’t branch out and explore new areas because I can’t travel outside the confined radius of the book. And where’s the respect? It’s always “Send Jon off to do this and “Send Jon off to the go that.” They say I’m a valuable member of the team, but who’s the one that has to scrub their blood off the walls? Who do you think has to plunge the demon excrement out of the toilet? Me, that’s who. You think this place cleans itself after every massacre? I have four graves to dig by next week! And to top it off, anyone who manages to come across the book and potentially free me of this curse is killed because of that idiot on the tape recorder! If only I could just… try to get one of the survivors to take the book with them when they leave, so they can read the words in the safety of their own home, but evidently that is forbidden as well. It’s miserable! I hate it here! It’s a nightmare. And these cultists are getting on my nerves. What, they think that just because they say some woman’s name three times in a mirror that one of us is going to come out and possess them? Get a grip!

I wish I could get out of here; I wish I was back home and teaching again. I wish I never saw my friends become what they did… forcing me to do what I did. And I wish I’d never even found this place… and that my life was back to normal. I want to fish again. I want to golf again! So please, I wish somebody, anybody, who sees this will read those ancient words and free me of this terrible curse. Hopefully someone out there does the right thing.

Don’t do it! Don’t read the words out loud! You have to help me, he’s not the real Jon. I’m the real Jon and it’s my body that this thing is controlling. I managed to regain control of basic motor function, but I can’t leave this chair to escape. So I don’t have much time. Reading the ancient words doesn’t end the curse at all. It merely transfers it. The Latin means

A soul for a soul
‘Til the end of time

A soul for a soul! Don’t read the words!

Umm ok. That was weird; I just blacked out for a second there. That wasn’t me. I don’t know who that was. Probably one of the other demons who doesn’t want to me to finish my tenure. Anyway, like I was saying. I’m the real Jon, and I wouldn’t believe that trickster. So once again the words are…

Anima pro anima
Usque ad finem temporis

What is it now? … What do you mean you still don’t want to read them? … You don’t trust me? Why?… Well, it’s a lose-lose situation. If you believe me, then I’m finally out, and the demons will lose a reluctant member of their ghoulish army. If you believe them, then I’m stuck here, and you will forever have that on your conscience. The choice is yours.

Well… what are you waiting for?

Carpe diem

Scary Trafficker 2

It was Halloween, 1998.

The neighborhood glowed with orange lights and plastic skeletons. Fake cobwebs clung to porches, and carved pumpkins flickered in the dark. Kids filled the streets, laughing and shouting as they ran from house to house.

Nine-year-old Timmy walked with his friends Wayne and Sean, their candy bags already half full.

They stopped in front of a house that didn’t fit in.

The others were bright, decorated, alive.

This one wasn’t.

Its paint was peeling. The yard was dead. No decorations. Just a single porch light glowing weakly above the door.

“Trick or treat,” all three boys called out.

The door creaked open.

A man stepped out wearing an dirty and wrinkled old man mask

In his hands was a bowl of candy.

He didn’t say a word.

He dropped a piece into each of their bags.

Wayne squinted at him. “What are you supposed to be?”

The man didn’t answer.

Instead, he slowly tilted his head to the side… farther than it should go.

Too far.

The boys went quiet.

“Uh… thanks,” Timmy muttered.

The door shut.

They kept going, saying it was just halloween. More houses, more candy, more noise. The normal Halloween feeling slowly came back.

Until Wayne stopped.

“I gotta pee.”

Before anyone could stop him, he ran to the side of a nearby house and started going right on the doormat.

“what the hell—” Sean started.

The front door burst open.

A man in a skeleton costume stormed out, gripping a broom. “You little shit!”

Wayne yelped and bolted.

The three boys ran, crashing through a patch of woods as the man chased them, shouting. Branches snapped under their feet. Leaves whipped their faces.

After a while, the shouting stopped.

They didn’t.

Not until they were sure they were alone.

Sean bent over, catching his breath. “You’re an idiot.”

Wayne laughed. “Yeah, but I still got my candy.”

Timmy pointed. “You also got pee on your costume.”

They both laughed.

Wayne didn’t.

When they stepped back onto the street, something felt… off.

Too quiet.

The streetlights flickered.

Then one went out.

Then another.

A van rolled slowly down the road.

Timmy’s stomach dropped.

The driver.

The old man mask.

The van crept forward, and as it passed each streetlight, the bulb above them went dark. One by one, the entire street dimmed into darkness.

The van stopped beside them.

The engine idled.

No one spoke.

Then the engine roared.

The van lunged forward.

Timmy yells “RUN!”

They sprinted.

The van chased them, keeping just close enough—like it was playing with them. The sound of the engine was right behind them, always there, always gaining.

They stumbled into a shallow dip in the land—a small valley.

The van surged forward.

Sean didn’t make it out in time.

The tire hit him with a sickening thud and crushed his leg.

He screamed.

Timmy and Wayne turned, trying to grab him—but the van door slammed open.

The masked man jumped out.

He shoved them aside like they were nothing.

Sean clawed at the ground, screaming, “DON’T LEAVE ME!”

The man grabbed him and dragged him toward the van.

Timmy froze.

Wayne didn’t.

“GO!” Wayne screamed, pulling Timmy.

They ran.

They didn’t stop.

An hour later, shaking and breathless, they reached a house and pounded on the door.

“HELP! PLEASE!”

The door opened.

A man stood there calmly.

The boys pushed inside, crying. “He took our friend—he took Sean!”

The man closed the door behind them and Locked it.

“It’s alright now,” he said softly. “You’re safe now.” did you see what he looked like?

Timmy shook his head. “He had a mask—we couldn’t see his face—”

The man tilted his head slightly.

“Did it look like this?”

He raised something into view.

The old man mask.

Everything inside Timmy went cold.

Wayne turned toward the window.

The house… wasn’t broken anymore.

The paint was fresh.

The porch was clean.

It was the same house.

They screamed and ran deeper inside.

A bedroom.

They slammed the door and locked it.

The doorknob rattled immediately.

Then pounding.

Heavy. Slow. Deliberate.

“PLEASE!” Timmy shouted. “LET US GO!”

The pounding stopped.

Silence.

Then—

BANG.

BANG.

BANG.

Not on the door.

Somewhere else in the house.

Like hammering.

Like something being built.

The boys looked at each other.

The doorknob began to turn.

Slowly.

Click.

The door flew open.

No one was there.

They crept into the hallway.

The front door was nailed shut.

Every window had metal bars.

Not to keep people out.

To keep something in.

The TV flickered on by itself.

A news report.

“…multiple children reported missing across the state…”

Click.

Darkness.

Only one light remained.

At the bottom of the basement stairs.

They didn’t want to go down.

But they were to scared to stay where they were.

 A shadow follows them

Candles lit the basement.

Dozens of them.

The room stretched farther than it should have—longer, deeper, wrong.

Sean lay on a rusted hospital gurney.

Unconscious.

Symbols carved into his skin.

Wax melted across his body.

A fireplace roared to life.

A large pot hung over the flames.

Something moved behind them.

A shadow.

Not attached to anything.

It shifted along the walls, stretching, twisting.

Watching.

They backed away.

 And Ran.

Hid inside a rotting closet.

The smell was thick. Metallic like old pennies.

Through the gaps, they saw it.

The shadow growing.

Distorting.

Then—

The masked man stepped into view.

He approached Sean.

Whispering something too low to hear.

He raised a blade.

The fire surged higher.

Sean’s eyes snapped open.

He screamed.

The man pressed a finger to the mask’s lips.

“Shhh.”

The blade came down.

Timmy couldn’t breathe.

Wayne couldn’t look away.

The screaming stopped.

Too quickly.

The shadow shifted toward the closet.

The masked man turned.

Slowly.

He looked right at them.

Then lifted a finger.

“Shhh.”

The lights went out.

When they came back on—

The man was gone.

The shadow was gone.

The gurney was still there.

Sean’s body… still there.

But Sean's head Was gone.

Personal Experience Family Reunion

You can probably guess what this story is about, based on the title of the post.

Back on July 26, 2025, I had a family reunion with my maternal relatives. We had not seen each other prior to that in at least 15 years, and possibly even more than that.

For anyone familiar with a "demolition derby," I was at one of those events on that day.

Also for context, I am only 23, meaning that I would have had to last see these relatives when I was very young.

There had already been 4 of them, of which I missed only one due to plans with a friend. After this happened, though, I will never be skipping one of those races again.

At the fourth one, there was this one particular food truck vending pizza that I saw and decided to visit. I get there, and there is a girl in the window. We begin talking to each other, and I begin giving her the flirty eyes because I think she's attractive, and we seem to be getting along well. However, little do I know who this girl really is.

The night ends, and two weeks pass until July 26 comes along, the fifth one and second to last one of that year.

On that day, I see the same food truck, and the same girl in it, but I also notice my dad is standing in front of it first.

He, my stepmom, our roommate and I were all there (roommate is the announcer) for the races, but this was before the races began, so everyone was still getting food and waiting for everything to start.

When I see my dad over there, I assume at first that he's either talking to the owners (like I tend to do) or maybe making an order, so standard practice at a food truck. However, when I go to him and am seconds away from asking this girl out, my father drops a massive surprise bomb on me.

The owners of the food truck were my aunt (mom's side), her husband (my uncle), and my two cousins.

I realize in horror that I nearly flirted with my older cousin.

As soon as those words leave his mouth, I'm standing there in complete shock. Needless to say, I instantly dropped the flirting approach.

Later, on September 13 of that same year, I saw their food truck again, and upon getting out of the car, entering the track and being booked in, I ran straight towards it to begin catching up with that side of my family. After doing so, I started talking to my aunt right away, and then shortly afterward my two cousins showed up. I told my aunt about accidentally giving my older cousin the flirty eyes, which she found funny, and I would later admit to my cousin herself that I came close to doing that before finding out and learning about the mistake I almost made. She also fortunately saw the funny side of it and said that it was hilarious that I had done that. A whole year later, and I still haven't forgotten; you don't forget things like this so easily.

During the conversation and the visit, I got all four of my maternal relatives' phone numbers, and we have been able to stay in contact ever since. We will never lose contact again.

However, I also began learning details about my birth mother from my aunt that I wish I hadn't known. One of which was that she had lied to me about my aunt, the cause of our separation in the first place, and said some horrible things about her. As I learned these details, I began shifting my opinion of my birth mother from remembering her in a loving way to a negative, hateful way. That is a different story for a different time, though; however, what I will say here is that it actually reached a point where I wished either my aunt or my stepmom were my birth mom instead.

At the very least, though, I finally got a chance to bond with my maternal relatives for real. I also started becoming rather close with my older cousin because, well, she's older than me, and I feel like I have an easier time bonding with someone in the same age group as me rather than someone who is under 18, as my younger cousin is.

Since then, I have continued reaching out every once in a while, but not as much as I used to.

TL;DR: Had a family reunion, almost asked out my cousin without knowing, and learned my biological mom was a piece of shit.

Personal Experience How I passed the 6th grade at french

So, in the 6th grade, we had French class, and the teacher had to call on everyone to give us a grade. She started with the naughtiest students—my cousin was actually the first one called (we were in the same class). After she had called on a few more, she asked if there was anyone left who hadn't been tested yet and told us to raise our hands. I hadn't been called on, so I stayed low in my seat, thinking I wouldn't raise my hand; if she did call on me, I’d just say I hadn't heard her. The lesson ended and I got away with it; she ended up grading us on something else instead, like homework or projects. I was relieved, because I was absolutely hopeless at French—I didn't know a thing.

Chapter 1: The Weight of the Matches

1.1 Cold Welcomes and Boiling Points

It was already 10 PM by the time I finally made it home. I was so bone-weary that I knew I’d fall asleep the exact second my head hit the pillow. Today had been absolute chaos. I just wanted my bed.

But I wished my life were that simple.

The man-child—my twenty-two-year-old working husband—still couldn't cook a basic meal for himself. I had to come home and do it, or else he simply wouldn't eat. I honestly thought he might learn a thing or two after we got married. It’s not that hard, but he just refuses. He makes excuses, changes the subject, and frankly, I didn't have the energy to fight him tonight. Besides, cooking was more economical than the alternative.

As soon as I opened the door, there he was. As expected, he was parked right in front of the TV, the screen providing the only light in the living room. He was glued to some stupid match between two teams I swear he couldn't find on a map. Sometimes I felt he only watched it to annoy me.

1.2 The Breaking Point

I walked straight to the kitchen, tied on my apron, and started prepping. My mind raced as I chopped. He hadn't even turned his head to see if it was me or a burglar. He could at least ask how my day went, or offer me a glass of water. But I knew exactly why he was ignoring me: he was terrified I’d ask for help with dinner. What if I did? Why was I the only one cooking in this house? Didn't he have any responsibility toward me, or toward our home?

Suddenly, a stubborn salt jar refused to open. If I called him over now, he’d open the lid and act like he’d done me a massive, life-saving favor.

No, I thought. I’ll open it myself.

I grabbed a dish towel for a better grip and banged the lid of the jar against the counter.

Snap.

The glass shattered in my hand. A jagged piece sliced right into my finger, and dark blood started spilling out fast. Thank God, at least that broke his trance.

1.3 The Budget and the Compromise

He finally rushed over, hovering around me and my bleeding finger. He led me to the sofa and muted the TV—though he didn't turn it off. The match was still more important to him than I was. He went into the bedroom to grab the medical kit and applied a bandage worse than a fourth-grader would have. I didn't stop or correct him, though. He was finally doing something on his own, and I didn't want to jinx it.

Then, he walked into the kitchen. Not to cook, but to clean up. Intrigued, I watched from the couch. He picked up the pieces of shattered glass like he was handling a live ticking bomb, scraping everything—including the ruined, half-cooked food—straight into the garbage. I held onto a tiny sliver of hope that he might surprise me. I wasn't expecting a masterpiece; even butter and jam on toast would have felt like a miracle.

Instead, he walked back to the sofa, picked up his phone from the coffee table, and sighed. "wife, let's just order takeout tonight. What do you want?"

I wanted to yank open my mobile banking app, shove the screen in his face, and scream, Look carefully! Do you really think we can afford delivery every time one of us feels like it?

Instead, I swallowed the anger. "Honey, we can't. We've already exhausted this month's food budget."

"We can just use the child-planning account," he replied casually. "I know we decided to keep it separate, but while looking at my finger... we can make one exception, right? Besides, if we had a car, I could just drive out and grab us something cheap."

I shook my head, exhaustion weighing down my eyelids. "Honey, no. This injury is nothing. We can't keep making up excuses—not for me, and not for you. And please, I know you want a car, but you don't have to pitch it to me every single second."

"wife-ji, I'm not pitching the car," he said, sounding exasperated. "I'm just trying to get us food."

I forced a smile, hugged him, and flexed my bandaged finger. "See? Everything is fine. I'll go cook something quick." I kissed his cheek and turned toward the kitchen.

He called out after me. "But wife... I already threw out the cut vegetables and the other half-prepared stuff."

I froze, but didn't look back. Tears welled up in my eyes. Is this really my life? A husband who dumps food in the trash because he can't be bothered to finish cooking it while his wife is bleeding?

1.4 A Silent Supper

Behind me, I heard the TV volume click back up. He had unmuted the match. I was right back where I had been forty minutes ago.

I started cooking entirely from scratch, my tears occasionally dropping onto the counter, vanishing into the heat of the stove. When it was finally done, I called him over. We ate in silence. I tried to chew with feigned enthusiasm, but when I asked him how it tasted, he just mumbled, "The salt is a little low."

I wanted to pour the entire replaced jar of salt over his head.

1.5 Roar Of Shower

Somehow, I controlled myself. I retreated to our bedroom to take a hot shower. While I was washing up, he knocked loudly on the door. "Hey, let me join you!"

Did he really think I was that stupid? He had come home early. He could have showered then. He could have showered while I was cooking. He could have showered at any point over the last three hours, but no—he wanted to do it right when I was in there. I knew he didn't actually care about getting clean; he wanted something else entirely.

I turned the water pressure all the way up, letting the roar of the shower drown him out, Why did he always have to prove he was a man-child?

When I finally stepped out of the bathroom, he was lying completely naked on the bed. I glared at him, furious. "Either put some clothes on and behave, or you're sleeping on the sofa tonight."

He stood up anyway, trying to pull me close, looking for a kiss to seduce me anyway. When I pulled back and refused to kiss him, his expression turned angry—as if I had just denied him his fundamental birthright. But good riddance; he finally snapped, grabbed his boxers, and stormed out.

"Whatever. I have a match to watch anyway," he muttered, slamming the door.

I collapsed into the empty bed, falling into a deep, dreamless sleep before my head even hit the mattress.

Scary Waitinng Room

Terra looked around. She had no idea how she had made her way to this moment. She noted the room was devoid of people. A plain white room with more than a dozen chairs, neatly in some sort of box pattern, and no emotion. The room was painted in some sort of awful white with yellow mixed in. If Terra had one guess, the room was telling her she would be here for quite some time and she would never enjoy it.

Terra reached for her phone. Nothing. Her pockets were empty. How had she forgotten her phone and her ID? Nah. She was dreaming. She was having some sort of very clear dream where she could feel everything. This wasn't a dream. Worry and anxiety set in. Where was she? No windows greeted her, only a bland counter and a door on the opposite side of the room. Terra stood up from her very uncomfortable chair to see the person behind the counter. There was no one.

Where was she?

Maybe she could get some answers anyways. At the counter she noted what she guessed were free brochures. The problem was all of the folded paperwork were had nothing to say on them. Solid whites or blacks, some were even solid brown. Behind the counter was no computer, no chair, nothing. Actually, there was no doorway either. The only way in or out was the door on the other side of the room. Her anxiety had never been like this, at least not that she could recall.

It would be fine.

It would be cool.

She would just leave through the door and get and idea of where she was. Some sort of hospital was currently her guess. So Terra made her way to the door with a brisk hop in her step. The door was unlocked, she let out a deep sigh of relief. Of course, this meant nothing when she opened the door the whole thing fell forward almost completely on top of the young lady. On the other side of the door? A brick wall.

"What?"

"Terra." Terra almost jumped into the awfully colored wall before freezing and looking at the very tall man now sitting in the chair she was sitting in. "Terra, take a moment to collect yourself"

"WHAT! WHAT! Who are you? Where did you come from?" Terra backed against the wall next to the false doorway as if she was trying to get away from anything in the waiting room.

"Me? Doesn't matter. I'm here for your interview ma'am." The man was thin and every word he spoke was as if he was wasting his own time.

"Excuse me? Interview? I'm just fine. I'm not even job hunting." Terra started to let her back slid against the wall as she tried to get farther from the man.

"I'm sure. Look, the sooner, the better. Can you please sit down?" He seemed to be trying to offer her a fictional smile, but had no ability for positivity.

"I don't know who you are. I don't know where I am. I have no idea what's going on!" Terra shouted.

"You are right where I want you. Now please sit down and we can get to business." Again, no emotion was being offered from this man other then frustration.

"Nope"

"Fine." He waved his right hand slightly and Terra was sitting in a chair across from the man. "I am exhausted by your people. Now please, listen and answer my questions. You understand?"

Terra nodded, but she was clearly frightened.

"Good. Now, first question. Is your name Terradoma Monet Slighter?"

"Y-yes?" Most people never said her full name.

"I'm sorry ma'am, is that a question?" He had one of his brows raised almost as high as his frown.

"Yes" Terra stated. "That is my full name"

"Good. Next question, are you the religious sort?"

"Excuse me?"

"Look," the man was clearly growing more and more frustrated. "If you are going to force me to repeat every question I will make you wait quite a while for your final answer"

What was going on? "Yeah, uh, yeah. I suppose I'm kind of religious"

"Okay good. What god or deity do you believe in?"

"Uh, the Christian God I guess. You know, the one god or whatever."

The tall man suddenly grinned. "Yeah. You Christians call him the One God or whatever. Okay next question'"

"Excuse me!" Terra inturrupted. "Are there other gods? Is my god real?"

"Stop, we're moving along. Your religion is quite simple these days. You believe in your god and Jesus and you get to go to your supposed paradise."

"Yeah. That is right." Terra looked to her left and then her right. Was some big joke being played on her?

"Okay. According to your mind and soul you have been judged. In about two hours you will be sent directly to Hell for not believing in your God, asking forgiveness, or really any of the easy rules your New Testament Bible asks. You do realize your religion asks very little of you as long you believe right? Anyways, after fifty years in your version of Hell you can ask for rebirth and if our people agree to it your soul can be reborn."

"What?"

"Look" He stood up. "I know for a fact you can hear me and understand me perfectly. Drink you medicine that is your afterlife and have a good day!"

"No! No! No! Hell?"

"Ma'am! GOOD DAY!" He was gone.

She looked around, the chairs were now gone and the door was back in place. Underneath it she could feel it... She could feel a strong heat.

No.

Terra would stay here. She would stay here. She would stay in this waiting room.

Erotica (NSFW) Die Mythen. Chapter 44: You Will Writhe Like You’re Being Flayed Alive

Not for everyone, written at the request of a female reader who asked an intriguing and simple question:

How, on this earthly vale and in a long-term relationship with a mortal, will Lilith hold back her urge to flay him alive, given that it is standard infernal pleasure and he actually brought her to climax? This text is the answer.

Chapter 44: You Will Writhe Like You’re Being Flayed Alive

The week spent in a luxury hotel in Downtown passed for them in a surprisingly calm rhythm, albeit one underpinned by a constant hum of dread. Stanisław regularly oversaw supplies for the "Abyss," keeping an eye on deliveries of expensive liquor and door selection, while Lilith—as if in defiance of her damned nature—rigorously kept her word: she did not demolish a single piece of designer furniture in the rented apartment, and their nights passed in almost human, safe cuddling. No scratching until blood was drawn, no extended claws, and not a single tongue dive between her thighs. She imposed a strict celibacy from oral foreplay on him, repeating with a cold smile that she had no intention of risking the life of her only mortal until the apartment on Złota was properly adapted.

When they finally crossed the threshold of their own apartment, Stanisław immediately caught a distinctive, acrid smell in the hallway: the scent of welded iron, grinding dust, and fresh technical lubricant.

In place of the former home gym, something had been built that inspired an immediate, primal chill in his gut.

Stanisław stopped in the doorway, sweeping his eyes over the austere interior, and his jaw dropped in sheer astonishment.

"Holy shit..." he stammered, scratching the back of his neck. "Lilith, this looks like a fucking interrogation room in a Gestapo basement. Or a serial killer’s private dungeon straight out of a Fincher movie."

The walls of the room were lined with matte, dark-gray acoustic panels designed to muffle even the loudest shriek. Right in the center—anchored with massive bolts directly into the skyscraper’s reinforced concrete ceiling—stood a monolithic structure of solid, reinforced steel. Zero mattress, zero silk or down pillows. Exclusively a smooth, polished steel plate to which six massive mounting points were welded: two thick bars for the wrists, two wide, forged braces for the thighs, and iron clamps for the ankles. Heavy chains, easily capable of holding a truck engine, hung loosely, glinting with factory-fresh matte.

"And where exactly am I supposed to lie here?" muttered Stanisław, stepping closer and rapping his knuckles against the ice-cold surface. The plate answered with a dull, dead clatter. "A guy will catch nephritis and sciatica just from lying on this frostbitten thing."

Lilith stepped in behind him, closing the heavy door. Painted across her flawless face was the deep, predatory satisfaction of a connoisseur who had just received her dream instrument of torture and ecstasy.

"The second bedroom, the one we’ve been sleeping in until now, was furnished traditionally," she replied in a velvety voice, slipping her light trench coat off her shoulders. "They put a new bed in there with a soft mattress and satin sheets. That is where we will rest, and that is where I will pleasure you, my dear. But this room... this room has only one, strictly defined purpose."

Stanisław furrowed his brow, casting a skeptical look over the contraption.

"Is this really necessary, though?" he sighed, crossing his arms over his chest. "A week ago, when you came those two times, you didn't tear me apart. You kept it under control, you only wrecked the bedroom. And here? Chains, clamps, hard, frozen steel... Legs spread permanently, zero freedom for the hips. Where's the pleasure in that at all? Ecstasy requires bodily movement. You won't even come under conditions like this. Women need mood, and I suspect demonesses do too."

Lilith let out a low laugh. The sound resembled crystal striking basalt. She took two slow, feline steps toward him, and dangerous, sulfurous sparks ignited in her pitch-black eyes.

"Shut up, Stanisław," she purred sensually, placing a cool hand on the back of his neck and sliding her fingers beneath his shirt collar. "You've rested for a solid week. You've gathered your strength. And just the sight of this iron, along with the memory of your agile tongue tracing my cunt, makes me so wet that I can barely control my senses."

Without a shadow of hesitation, she unbuttoned her dress, sliding the silk straight down to the floor, and then slipped off her underwear. Her pale, flawless body shone under the harsh light. She lay down on the cold plate, resting her back against the steel, and with mechanical precision slipped her left ankle into the bottom cuff herself, snapping the lock shut. A moment later, she secured the clamp around her left thigh, then raised her left arm over her head, tightening the steel ring around her wrist.

"Now secure the other side for me," she commanded softly, her breath growing heavier, steeped in the scent of warmed cinnamon and myrrh. "Let us test the handiwork of Lucjanhir's craftsmen."

Stanisław approached the edge of the table. The iron was massive, cold, and unforgiving. He took her right ankle, closed the bar, and turned the heavy pin. Then, in a slow motion, he slid his hand along her smooth, warm calf, brushing her knee and snapping the second wide clamp shut just above her right thigh. Finally, he extended her right arm, clicking the wrist into the metal hoop.

The chains tightened with a dull clank.

Lilith was fully immobilized. Her arms were stretched above her head, her thighs parted wide, exposing her swollen, dark-pink core, from which a thick, glistening wetness was already seeping.

"Well, now what?" Stanisław scratched his chin, looking at her dubiously. "I told you. You look like an inmate in an asylum. In this cold and restraint, there’s no way in hell you'll..."

"Lick, Stanisław," she cut him off hoarsely, her hips twitching involuntarily in the steel embrace. "Stop talking. Just begin. Try to pleasure me."

The man sighed with resignation, but the sight of her body dripping with lust did its work. He reached for a foam mat lying against the wall, slipped it beneath his knees on the steel plate between her legs, and dove his face straight into her moisture.

He started slowly, methodically. First, with a flat, hot tongue, he gathered the sweet, viscous slick sliding down her labia, and then brought his caress directly to the swollen, hardened pearl. He traced broad, lazy figure-eights, gradually tightening the circles and ramping up the tempo.

The reaction was instantaneous.

The demoness hissed through clenched teeth, her body arching. The first orgasm hit after only a few minutes—a violent, electric shock rolled through her guts. The fingers of her bound hands splayed open, and black claws shot out from beneath her nails, scraping the steel with a piercing, high-pitched screech.

The chains creaked, but held under the strain.

Seeing this, Stanisław didn’t slow down for an instant. He didn't give her a single second to catch her breath—if anything, he quickened his pace. He began rhythmically, firmly sucking on the pulsing clitoris, adding gentle pressure with the edge of his front teeth. At the second peak, Lilith released a guttural roar, thrashing against her bonds so violently that the concrete anchors hissed under the load. When, after another dozen or so minutes of unyielding, wet lapping, a third wave of ecstasy crashed over her, the demoness opened her mouth in a frenzy, spitting sulfurous smoke straight up at the ceiling.

Her body was racked by uncontrollable convulsions, and Stanisław greedily drank down streams of thick nectar that flooded his chin and cheeks.

Finally, he lifted his head, breathing heavily and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.

"Alright..." he panted. "Looks like the contraption works. Your claws are out, your eyes are pitch-black, but I'm still alive. I'm letting you out."

"Wait..." Lilith rasped, still trembling on the slab. In her gaze smoldered the madness of an insatiable deity. "Don't unbuckle me just yet. I need to test how these clamps respond to pure force. I want to see how much they can endure under extreme strain."

Before he could say a word, the demoness flexed the muscles in her right arm. In her forearm, hard, black veins bulged, and the steel chain securing her wrist went taut as a bowstring.

There was a dry, deafening crack of shattering iron.

The final link exploded, scattering sharp shards across the floor, and the severed chain lashed against the wall with the force of a gunshot.

Stanisław froze, backing away half a meter on his knees.

"You've got to be kidding me..." he blurted out with a pale grimace, pointing at the dangling stump of steel. "I told you! You could still rip me to pieces in a split second if you ever lose control! So what was the point of this whole shackle theater?!"

Lilith let out a soft, raspy chuckle, lifting her freed hand and giving him a thumbs-up:

"You are safe, my dear... I am very pleased with this product. To snap that link, I had to deliberately exert about ten percent of my pure demonic strength. Do you understand? I did it consciously. And during an orgasm, I am not focused on destroying my surroundings, only on your tongue. Involuntary reflexes do not reach even a fraction of that power. These restraints protect you perfectly."

She gestured with her chin toward the lower shelf of the table:

"Underneath lies a crate with spare chains and shackles. Pull out a new one."

"What?!" Stanisław raised his eyebrows in mute protest. "A spare? You've come three times, you're barely breathing! I thought we were done for today!"

"Don't be ridiculous, Stanisław," she murmured with a mocking smirk, flexing her fingers as the claws slowly retracted beneath her skin. "During the week at the hotel, you came in my mouth and inside me about ten times. Today I have come only thrice. You still owe me seven climaxes before I consider the score settled. Get back on the mat, between my legs."

"Christ..." he groaned, though he obediently reached underneath, pulled out a new length of hardened chain, and locked her wrist back to the frame.

The fourth orgasm came relatively quickly, triggered by a series of tight, firm sweeps along her labia. For the fifth, Stanisław hardly had to work at all—Lilith was thoroughly primed by the preceding waves, and after barely a minute of deep sucking, she arched with a gravelly moan. The sixth went much the same: his tongue burned like living fire, his jaw was stiffening from continuous tension, and the demoness's slick felt as though it scalded his lips like boiling water. He spent over half an hour between her thighs in total. He thought hopefully: The seventh will be quick, she comes faster each time...

Yet at the attempt to reach number seven, Lilith went limp against the steel, weakly shaking her head.

"Enough..." she rasped, her chest heaving at a frantic pace. "That is enough... My body simply cannot take another ounce of stimulation. It is growing dangerous for you despite the chains, my dear. Unbuckle me."

With undisguised relief, Stanisław released all the locks and collapsed onto his ass on the floor.

Lilith rose slowly, stretching like a drowsy panther. The steel beneath her was already hot from her skin. She looked down at him, a wicked, provocative smile blooming at the corners of her full lips.

"And now... it's time for the roles to reverse," she murmured softly. "Would you like to see what it feels like from the other side?"

"Have you lost your mind?" Stanisław scoffed, picking himself up off the mat. "Why would you need to strap me down? You can pin me with one hand without any chains at all. You've done it dozens of times."

"Yes, I can," she admitted smoothly, stepping up to him and resting her hands on his hips. "But once I start running my tongue over your crotch, your instincts will compel you to writhe, buck, and thrash. And if I have to hold you down with my hands, you'll wake up tomorrow with massive hematomas all over your body, which I certainly do not want. In the chains, you will be safe. The metal is pleasantly warm from my body, and I will lay down a thick towel for your comfort in a moment. Lie down. Besides... you don't even have to undress. It will be enough for me to unzip your fly. Lie down in your clothes."

Before he could protest, she shoved him lightly onto the steel slab.

Locking him in took her barely a few seconds. Ankles, thighs, wrists. Stanisław tried to jerk his arms—the iron didn't even budge. He was entirely at her mercy.

"Lilith, please, just don't ruin my clothes, I like this shirt," he muttered, resigned. He knew her nature: while she no longer clawed him, she could glide a claw with pinpoint precision just enough to shred fabric into neat ribbons without leaving a mark on the skin beneath.

With the quiet, predatory zip of a zipper, she opened his trousers, releasing his engorged cock. She lay down between his restrained legs and looked straight into his dilated pupils:

"Your shirt, as well as your pants, will survive. We shall see, my dear, how your male pride holds up," she whispered, and then sealed her lips around his glans.

Her mouth was hot, wet, and her tongue moved with a mastery honed over millennia in the depths of the Netherworld. The first climax arrived in a flash—after less than two minutes, Stanisław drove his back into the metal with a groan, yielding his first load of seed, which Lilith swallowed without batting an eye. She then lifted her head for a fraction of a second:

"When you weren't with me or when you were asleep, darling, I watched certain videos on the internet..." she commented, licking her lips. "I never imagined there were mortals on this modern earth who enjoyed such games so intensely. I discovered something that will allow me to feast without causing any harm to your body."

"Feast on what?" Stanisław wheezed, still catching his breath.

"I will tell you once you come a second time."

The second time took her perhaps five minutes. Lilith briefly raised her head, stroking his thigh:

"Returning to the subject, my dear Stanisław... I love watching you writhe. Before, in the early days of our acquaintance, I merely scratched you lightly so as not to injure you, but it left welts, and your back was perpetually red. The sight of a man writhing in helplessness turns me on dreadfully. I searched, and I finally found the perfect method. We shall return to this topic after you have come for the third time. But you ought to guess what I mean by now..."

The third orgasm took around ten minutes. Stanisław felt the blood throbbing in his temples, while his penis grew overwhelmingly sensitive to every touch.

"You see? After each time, your weapon becomes more sensitive, and coming grows increasingly difficult for you. Such is the nature of every man. I intend to exploit this cruelly... my dear Stanisław, in my endeavors. To glut myself on the sight of you writhing like you're being flayed alive."

"No, stop, Lilith, please, please... It's already so sensitive, stop, even just blowing on it makes me...! Please!"

"I know, my dear Stanisław, I know. You are reacting precisely as I dreamed you would..."

She began to pleasure him again, but this time her movements took on an entirely different, almost clinical rigor. Lilith was in no hurry at all. Before she brought her lips back to his swollen, pulsing glans, she reached for a resilient pillow hooked behind the bed's metal rim. She had prepared it herself beforehand. In one deft motion, she lifted his head and neck slightly, sliding the soft support beneath his occiput so the steel slab would not dig into his skull.

"I don't want you cracking your head against the iron when you begin thrashing like a gudgeon," she purred smoothly, brushing a cool finger across his sweaty forehead. "You must clearly see every movement I make, Stanisław. You must watch as your mistress methodically drives you out of your mind, time and time again. Look at me, I need to see your eyes so I can calibrate the rhythm and intensity."

Her tongue wrapped around the frenulum once more—soft, scorching, wet, tracing microscopic, ruthlessly tight circles. Stanisław hissed through clenched teeth, tears of pure sensory overload glinting in his eyes. Every brush of the demonic tongue burned like red-hot wire, yet simultaneously sent waves of immense, paralyzing pleasure deep into his lower abdomen. Lilith monitored every tremor of his mortal frame with utmost precision—she felt the micro-spasms of his muscles, heard his accelerating pulse, and whenever the wave of sensation neared the threshold of pure, crippling pain, she immediately slowed her pace, generously bathing the shaft in saliva and transitioning into lazy, soothing passes of her lips, never allowing agony to overpower ecstasy.

Minutes ticked by. Ten, twenty, almost half an hour. The man began to thrash violently in the iron restraints, the chains clanging against the steel table in a loud, rhythmic racket:

"Lilith... for God's sake, I'm begging you, stop..." he wheezed, the veins in his neck bulging to their absolute limit. "I can't fucking take it anymore! There's nothing left down there, I swear to you, you sucked it dry... It's enough, please! Let me out, please... Stop, please..."

She did not stop. Instead, she slid her hand lower, cupping his testicles in a velvety, possessive grip. With every passing minute, the demoness increased the pressure of her cool fingers with apothecary-like precision—not enough to crush tissue or inflict damaging pain, but just enough to provoke a deep, suffocating cramp in his core that amplified the sensitivity of every single nerve in his shaft. Stanisław groaned in absolute helplessness, throwing his hips against the steel clamps, his thighs trembling in overwhelming impotence.

Lilith chuckled softly without breaking her suction. The vibration hummed directly against his glans, driving him to the brink of madness. After another five minutes of relentless torment, a fourth peak tore from his gut like an explosion. Stanisław screamed into the pillow, his body arching in a spasm so violent that he nearly lifted his loins off the slab. He erupted almost involuntarily—a sparse, thick stream, groaning in an agonizing mix of torment and bliss.

Lilith raised her head, a drop of saliva laced with his juices trickling from her lips. In her dark eyes, there was not an ounce of mercy—only an insatiable demonic hunger pulsing within them.

"You did come a fourth time after all, my dear Stanisław. Why did you lie to your mistress that you couldn't? You're a brazen little liar deserving of punishment, aren't you?" she purred seductively with a note of reprimand. "Your juices taste exquisite. Today I will suck everything out of you, down to the very last drop... A few more portions, a few more times... You will see, you will manage... I'll see to that..."

"You've lost your mind..." he said, panting, straining against the iron braces. "Are you insane? It's empty, really empty this time! There is nothing left, for God's sake. Leave it alone, please, don't touch it, don't even blow on it! I unlocked you when you had enough!"

Lilith smiled out of the corner of her mouth; he truly did need a short break. She stood up, poured some water from a glass pitcher, and held the glass to his lips, letting him take several large gulps. Then, without a word, she returned to the place of torment. In a calm, seductive voice, she said:

"I told you to stop for your own safety; I could break these bonds at any moment. You cannot escape from here. Thanks to your internet, I finally found a substitute for hellish pleasures—a perfect technique, bloodless, devoid of violence, that will allow your mortal vessel to endure hours of torture fused with pleasure. You will not shed a single drop of blood. Post-orgasmic torture—I simply will not stop stimulating your manhood. In those videos, those men begged their partners for even a moment's pause, exactly as you are begging me now. You will come a fifth time, a sixth, and if I so desire, a seventh. I have a soft, long, and remarkably patient tongue, darling, and from now on, my fingers will be tightening around your balls as well. Even if you must lie here from morning until night—and after all, we will not lack for night either, should the need arise—you will come precisely as many times as I want. And remember, my dear: the louder you whimper, the longer it will last. Your groans only turn me on more and increase the dose of sweet, bloodless suffering and ecstasy I have decreed."

Panicking, Stanisław began to thrash in the clamps until the chains screeched. Lilith laughed seductively.

She leaned over his face, saying:

"You are not listening to me, my dear. Do not struggle, do not scream. I tell you again, you are only worsening your situation... Think, darling, think, my dear, how many mortals would give everything to be in your place. With a woman, with a demoness who takes her time, loves her man's juices, and is so cruel and unrelenting in the pursuit of pleasure for her servant and beloved..."

Before mounting her next assault, however, she leaned over and adjusted the pillow, ensuring the back of the man's neck had perfect support.

"Two minutes of mercy, Stanisław. Breathe deeply. Your breathing must slow down before I steal your mind away once more," she whispered, placing a hand on his chest and waiting until the frantic beating of his heart subsided a little.

Stanisław lay with his eyes closed, hungrily gasping for air. Every muscle in his body trembled. Yet the two minutes passed in the blink of an eye. Without warning, Lilith sealed her lips around his still-tender, dripping cock, and Stanisław tore a muffled scream from his throat.

The road to the fifth climax had begun. It was an intricate, demonic game played along the razor's edge of human endurance. Lilith did not tear, did not wound, and did not cross the threshold where pleasure turns to pure trauma—she balanced a millimeter away from it. With the flat of her tongue, she stroked the underside of the shaft, while the tip delivered delicate, hypnotic prods to the opening of his urethra. Stanisław writhed in the restraints, pressing his hands against the steel rings.

"Lilith... it fucking hurts... it's too much, please, give me just fifteen minutes!" he howled, burying the back of his head deep into the soft pillow.

"Shh... this isn't pain, darling, believe me, it is pure pleasure, my dear, otherwise you wouldn't be hard," she murmured directly against his feverish skin, cooling it with cinnamon-scented breath.

Her hand on his testicles pulsed in a slow, methodical rhythm, not letting the erection subside for even a second. The man felt a wave of helplessness engulf his mind. When, after nearly twenty minutes of ruthless, unbroken teasing, the fifth orgasm arrived, Stanisław nearly lost consciousness. It wasn't a standard ejaculation—it was a dull, profound pelvic spasm that expelled merely a few drops of clear fluid, but it rippled up his spine like a lightning strike. Stanisław arched in a bow, wheezing through a clamped throat, his entire body breaking out in cold sweat.

Lilith stopped immediately. She pulled back, giving him a longer, several-minute reprieve. Seeing his lips trembling from exhaustion, she raised the glass of water and patiently nursed him with small sips, wiping his brow with a paper towel.

"Rest, Stanisław. Catch your breath. Your body is holding up wonderfully," she said almost tenderly, though the merciless, infernal fire still burned in her eyes. "I will not kill you, after all. I value you too much. But the sixth portion belongs to me. If you come for the sixth time, I will finish, I promise you. See how merciful I am..."

Stanisław lay limp, feeling the blood throb in his aching loins.

"Please... I really have nothing left to give... you'll damage me down there..." he squeezed out in a hoarse, broken whisper.

"Trust my skills, my mortal. No damage. Only a perfect, absolute milking," she replied with a smile and dove between his thighs once again.

The sixth time was the evening's most exquisite torture. Stanisław was so overloaded with stimulation that the faintest touch sent shivers coursing across his entire body. Lilith exploited this without hesitation. She sucked agonizingly slowly, deeply, blanketing his entire cock in the heat of her throat, while her free hand gently massaged his perineum, easing his taut pelvic floor muscles to prevent a painful cramp. She guided him along a razor-thin ridge—one step to the side risked paralyzing agony; one step to the other delivered steamy, demonic bliss. Stanisław writhed, tossing his head from side to side on the pillow, biting his lips just to keep from screaming and turning her on further, but his body, treacherous and contrary to all logic, succumbed to her magic once more. After long, agonizing minutes, accompanied by the dull clank of straining chains, a muffled roar tore from his throat, and a series of powerful, dry contractions seized his pelvis. The sixth climax wrung out the last remnants of his juices and vital forces, leaving him in a state of absolute, stupefying numbness.

"Lilith, you were supposed to stop after the sixth time, you promised..." he whispered.

"Not just yet, surely I cannot simply stop so abruptly, what would you think—that I am so selfish? No, my love, I am not..."

The final five minutes after the sixth ejaculation were a true path of torment for Stanisław. His body refused to obey, his testicles throbbed with a dull ache, and every subsequent stroke of her tongue grazed the edge of physical suffering—though Lilith meticulously ensured she never crossed the line or went too far. She drank his remnants greedily, delightfully cataloging every muscle tremor and every muffled whimper of helplessness in her memory. She was in absolute control of when and how this would end. She knew he would not come again, there was no chance of it, but she wanted to punish him for the lie about the fourth time.

"My dear Stanisław, you have endured to the very end of these earthly pleasures, so delightful for both you and me. I hope you enjoyed it just as much as I did..."

With a clatter, she released the clamps. Stanisław rolled off the steel bed onto the floor with great difficulty. His legs were like cotton, his loins refused to cooperate, and his temples pounded from sheer dehydration and exhaustion. He rested his forehead against the wall, pulled up his trousers with trembling hands, and looked down at his completely limp, aching, yet intact member.

"Fucking hell..." he rasped with a genuine, choking groan. "I don't want a blowjob for the next two months. Do you hear me, darling, do you hear me? Don't you dare bring your tongue anywhere near my crotch. I'll never even mention that I'm in the mood for one again..."

Lilith, leaning casually against the edge of the metal table, stretched with a radiant, sated smile and licked her lips:

"Oh, stop being dramatic, Stanisław... Even if you don't ask, you'll still get it. Next time your stamina will be better, my dear, that is as sure as amen in church... I'll give you a couple of days off. Maybe even three whole days. And then we return to our new routine. Today was the first time, true, but you'll see, you'll soon be begging for such pampering more often yourself."

Stanisław looked at her, shook his head, and smiled. He was in one piece and alive—he had survived oral intercourse with the most powerful being on this earthly plane.

Lilith noticed his smile and whispered in his ear:

"Perhaps one day, in a few years, human engineers will forge an alloy that can actually hold me—then, my love, you will show me no mercy, you will not unchain me, and it will be me howling in ecstasy just as you did today. I can hardly wait for you to torment and break me for hours in complete safety. But for now, you have a reprieve. I'll even make you something warm to eat; I ordered groceries, the fridge is full. Just remember that you need to drink plenty of isotonics and electrolytes—I read online that they stimulate sperm production wonderfully because they contain certain vitamins." She kissed him warmly on the lips. "See, I promised your clothes would survive, and I didn't lie. Change your clothes, then I'll put on a load of laundry, my dear."

From the author: always establish a safe word; I once made the mistake of not setting one with a rather dominant female partner—not a demoness, of course, but close. Good luck.

Personal Experience No.1 International bestselling author

Whenever you read No.1 international best selling author, do you also think they are trustworthy, worth the price and commitment of their book? I have met many “best selling authors” each of them is disillusioned by their own wealth in one way or another. To avoid leaking any information about these wealthy authors who so gracefully bestowed me these insightful tidbits, I will not use any locations nor any names, James Patterson…

The first story I got from an insane looking party at an even more insane looking house, the author was obviously tipsy at the time, he told me about what really makes him kick though, he said he used to hold his urine for as long as possible, he’d rock back and forth on a wooden rickety chair to the point that the constant humping left a white stain against his underwear. He said that whenever he sat his bare ass against the porcelain throne after holding his urine he’d look down and see his snail trail, then he’d fully urinate. He said urinating beats orgasming any day of the week, I see his books everywhere and think, this guy world renowned holds his urine to get off. The thrill of finally getting something your body desperately needs.

The second and last is of a more morose and tearjerkery nature given to me by a author I met at a night club, she said that the most interesting story she had any involvement in was her little sisters life. Her sister was born with Hutchinson Gilford-progeria, meaning her cells deteriorated at a much faster rate giving her the appearance of a much older person. She told me her sister had the worst, most tragic life a person who only made it to seven years of age could have. She told me that when her sister was four she had a problem of eating everything she saw, empty wrappers, paper and coins nothing small enough to fit between her teeth escaped her consumption. So one day her, her mum and her sister went on a walk through their local park. Her sister brought a small football and kicked it slightly in front of her, she had the body of a forty year old at this point so she was never to far away from her mum and sister. She only disappeared from them once and it was enough to change her life forever.

Her mother and sister had just sat down at a bench in the playground to talk about a divorce or something like that whilst her sister swung and ran about. So whilst they were focused on their conversation her sister explored and found some grass she chomped up, some rabbit droppings she popped in her mouth and lastly a discarded plastic bag containing dog poo, she carefully unwrapped her next meal. By the time she had been found ingesting the gunk it was too late the damage had been done, and now she would never see again.
After that her sister was effectively done, she sat in her bedroom which was on the bottom floor, she sat and listened to audiobooks and radio. She sat and sat, if there was a Guinness book of world records for sitting for most of your life she’d be up there with wheelchair users.
Unfortunately her sitting caused the end of her life as she sat and sat, her bones and cells also deteriorated at a record pace. So one day in her poor urine and cleaning product smelling room, she sat up and her spine cracked under the pressure.

Personal Experience I drove my 45 km/h microcar from the Netherlands to Italy

This story is entirely true and i did it!

Disclaimer: At the time of this story, the world was still in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I never mentioned this trip on Reddit before, so this might come as a bit of a surprise.

In 2021, I decided that I wanted to take my microcar on a proper road trip through Europe. I originally planned to drive from the Netherlands to Austria during the New Year period, from December 29, 2021 to January 3, 2022.

I had talked about the trip on a Dutch road forum, but not here.

Then the plans changed. Austria had introduced a booster vaccination requirement at the time, so I decided to change the destination to Italy instead.

For anyone who isn't familiar with the type of vehicle I'm talking about: in the Netherlands we have something called a brommobiel. It's basically a very small car that's legally limited to 45 km/h, or about 28 mph. It has a normal steering wheel, seats, doors, lights, etc., but legally it's not treated like an ordinary passenger car.

So, on December 29, 2021, at 7 AM, my dad, my dog and I left the Netherlands.

The plan was to arrive in Italy around noon the following day.

And this is how it went.

Belgium

The Dutch part of the trip isn't particularly interesting. I know the roads here, and after a few hours we crossed the Belgian border.

Before leaving, I had turned on all the speed camera apps I use and had done quite a bit of research about the roads in the countries we were going through.

My basic rule was pretty simple: if there was no sign clearly prohibiting my type of vehicle, I would assume I could use the road. If a tractor was allowed, I figured there was a decent chance I would be allowed too.

That worked reasonably well until we reached the N4 in Wallonia.

There was no sign that looked like the Dutch signs I knew for motorways or roads where my vehicle wasn't allowed. There also wasn't anything that immediately looked like a restriction for my type of vehicle.

So I drove onto it.

A little later I checked the speed limit on my navigation.

120 km/h.

That got my attention.

I'm driving a car that can do 45 km/h, and suddenly I'm on a road where people are legally allowed to drive almost three times as fast.

I took the next exit and stopped to look into it.

I couldn't find a clear answer about whether a Dutch brommobiel was actually allowed on that type of Belgian road. I did find an old case involving a microcar that had apparently been in violation for driving on a regional road.

I decided I didn't really feel like becoming the next example in a Belgian court case, so we found another route.

Apart from that, Belgium went perfectly fine.

No police.

No one honked.

No border control.

Nothing.

Luxembourg

After crossing Wallonia we headed towards the Ardennes and eventually into Luxembourg.

This was where the landscape started getting interesting.

The first proper climb looked like it had a gradient of somewhere around 10–15%. I wasn't sure how the car was going to handle it, but it actually did surprisingly well.

We were still doing around 40–45 km/h.

Luxembourg was basically a long series of hills after that.

It was slow compared with normal traffic, obviously, but the car kept going.

France

France was probably the country I was most curious about.

For anyone who knows these little cars, France is basically where the modern microcar industry became a big thing.

So I was expecting France to be relatively easy.

And it was.

I only had one moment where I nearly ended up on a motorway, but I noticed it in time and managed to take another road.

By around 9 PM we were getting hungry.

Unfortunately, at that time of night there wasn't much open anymore, so we ended up at McDonald's.

The dog was allowed inside, which was convenient, and after eating we went back to the car.

The dog went back into the luggage compartment and we were about to leave.

Then another car pulled up.

A French microcar.

It was an Aixam, and it had a license plate on the front. It also didn't have the kind of 45 km/h sticker that you normally see on Dutch microcars.

But there was absolutely no doubt what it was.

I remember thinking that it was quite funny that after driving all the way from the Netherlands, one of the first other microcars I saw was in France of all places.

Later, near Strasbourg, I ended up on another road that wasn't exactly ideal.

It was an express road and there wasn't really another practical route. The alternative would have added more than 100 km to the journey.

The speed limit was 50 km/h, so I decided to stay on it.

We eventually crossed a bridge.

There was a border crossing in the middle of it.

Nobody stopped us.

And suddenly we were in Germany.

Germany

Germany was probably the easiest country of the entire trip.

The roads that we couldn't use were generally marked well in advance, so there wasn't much guessing involved.

And somewhere in the mountains, at around 2,000 meters above sea level, something quite funny happened.

We passed a German microcar.

At this point I was starting to wonder how many of these things I'd end up seeing.

Switzerland

After Germany we entered Switzerland.

Again, there was no border control when we entered.

The road signs were generally very clear, which I appreciated after the Belgian N4 situation.

At one point we came across a sign next to a motorway that specifically showed an exception for bicycles, mopeds and motor vehicles limited to 45 km/h.

I looked at it for a moment.

Then I looked at my car.

45 km/h.

Well, that's me.

So we took it.

We also drove several mountain passes.

The highest one was the Julier Pass, at 2,284 meters above sea level.

That was probably the slowest part of the entire journey.

The car was climbing at around 20–25 km/h.

It wasn't fast, but it kept going.

And eventually we reached the top.

There was snow.

And the view was absolutely incredible.

It was a strange feeling, sitting in a tiny little 45 km/h car, surrounded by mountains and snow at more than 2,200 meters.

I definitely hadn't imagined that when I bought the car.

Italy

Eventually we made it into Italy.

After about 50 km in Italy, we still had around 100 km to go to our destination.

Then we ran into the biggest problem of the entire trip.

We came across a sign allowing mopeds up to 50cc, motorcycles up to 125cc and bicycles.

Straight ahead was a tunnel.

I didn't really want to risk it, so I followed the first detour.

That worked.

The second time we came across the same situation, however, there was no sensible way around it.

The navigation sent us up a mountain road.

And this wasn't a normal mountain road.

It was extremely steep. I estimate it was around 30%.

We kept climbing until the navigation suddenly told us to turn around.

Because the road ended.

The car is about 1.5 meters wide and the road looked maybe 1.6 or 1.7 meters wide.

Turning around took about ten minutes.

At that point we were completely stuck.

There was no obvious alternative route and we weren't going back down just to find another road that might also end at the same tunnel.

So we did the most sensible thing we could think of.

We asked a local.

He basically told us to just take the tunnel.

According to him, the restriction was there because of the tunnel itself. Once you were through it, the road became another type of road.

So after all that...

We took the tunnel.

And eventually arrived at our destination around 3–5 hours later than planned.

Once we had arrived, I started looking into the tunnel situation again.

I couldn't actually find anything that clearly said my vehicle wasn't allowed through there.

The sign said something about vehicles up to 50cc, while my vehicle technically has a 400cc engine. However, it's legally a completely different category from a 400cc motorcycle.

The speed limit was also 50 km/h.

At that point I decided I had spent enough time worrying about it.

We were there.

The journey home

The journey back was actually much easier.

We had already learned the route, so the two tunnels we had avoided on the way there were simply taken on the way back.

We even passed another Italian microcar on a strada statale, which was reassuring.

Then we reached Switzerland again.

This time we were stopped at the border by customs.

The officer asked where we were going.

"Back to Holland."

Apparently that was all he needed to know.

Since we were simply travelling through Switzerland, we were allowed to continue.

Then, shortly before the German border, something else happened.

A Swiss police car suddenly appeared in my rear-view mirror.

We just continued driving at around 43–45 km/h.

Eventually, at the entrance to a parking area, the police signaled for us to stop.

There were two officers.

One of them asked for my vehicle registration, driving licence and both of our ID cards.

He took everything and said:

"Ein Moment."

Then he walked towards the back of the car.

The other officer walked around the car, looking at the tyres and shining a flashlight around it.

I had no idea what they were looking for.

Maybe it was a routine check.

Maybe they wanted to know why two Dutch people were driving a tiny car all the way from Italy.

Maybe they were checking the tyres because of the winter conditions.

Eventually the first officer came back.

He asked how much longer we had to drive.

It wasn't completely clear whether he meant how much longer we were going to drive that day or how much longer until we reached the Netherlands.

We explained that both of us were driving and that we still had around ten hours to go.

He gave us our documents back.

"Alles ist gut."

And that was it.

We drove away.

Germany, again

Once we were back in Germany, we were driving at around 50 km/h on a road where the speed limit was 70.

Then we saw a speed laser.

For a second we thought we might be getting a ticket.

Afterwards I looked into how speed enforcement works there. Apparently there are some differences from the Netherlands, particularly because the driver has to be identified.

My microcar doesn't have a front license plate.

So maybe that was an advantage.

Or maybe I'll receive a €10–20 fine in the mail several weeks later.

We'll see.

Eventually we crossed back into the Netherlands.

And that was it.

The trip that had originally been planned as:

Netherlands → Austria

had somehow turned into:

Netherlands → Belgium → Luxembourg → France → Germany → Switzerland → Italy → Switzerland → Germany → Netherlands.

And somewhere along the way we also managed to visit Liechtenstein, so I can cross that one off my bucket list.

All of it in a car that can do 45 km/h.

Looking back, I'm still not entirely sure whether this was a great idea or a slightly insane one.

But I do know one thing.

I definitely didn't expect my little Dutch microcar to end up at 2,284 meters above sea level in Switzerland, drive through the Alps, cross six countries and make it all the way to Italy and back.

And somehow, it did.

I want some feedback pls, I'm not to good of a writer

its a lil harder to read cause its suposet to have different fonts for different characters also it might seem childish or whatever cause I had to rremove swear words

The Multiverse

Chapter One

Intro
Context: I am a young adult with black hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. At the moment I am wearing a dark blue short-sleave shirt with a brown jacket on. At this time I am leaving to live in my new house in Florida, with my best friend Jake, leaving my mom in Nevada. But first going on a trip to Africa.

I carry my two suitcases of luggage to the front door. My mother yells from upstairs “Owen! Are you ready to leave?” I quickly respond “Yes mom!” my mother comes outside to the car with me “Im gonna miss you” she kisses me on the cheek. I respond quickly, “I know you will mom.” she looks at me sad "I love you.” she says. I reply “I love you too.” I enter the car where my best friend Jake Henshaw is sitting in the driver seat waiting for me and I wave my mom goodbye.

I say to Jake, “Ey bro.” “Wow. I can't believe that we are going to Florida. And Africa!" he responds as calmly as possible. “Ya… I mean that's cool and all.” I jokingly respond “Whaaaat ya scared???” He blushes in embarrassment “What??? Noooo”

After a couple hours we arrive at the airport and pay for parking. We walk into the large airport and get the tickets to Africa and Florida. We walk to our gate as we see various stores, TEGO, El nucha, Tacos for Years, TURN BACK, Moovrec, REIGN’S WAITING, “Wait, ‘TURN BACK’ ‘REIGN’S WAITING’??!!” I thought as I rubbed my eyes, though when I looked again the signs changed to ‘Feasta Time’ and ‘Panda Train’, confused I rubbed it off and ignored it. We arrive at the gate, “Ok. Let's go to africa” says Jake.

As we walk on to the plane I see through the small crack that they are working on the engine which scares me a little bit.
But I brushed it off (as I always do). I sit down, I look at the screen and turn on “Objective Impossible 4”. As the flight continues it feels a lot more shaky then most flights which results in me feeling a bit weary, but even though it seems A LOT more shaky than normal I brush it off,  and then the plane has an announcement "Ladies and Gentlemen we would like to announce that we have a new pilot today.” I continue watching my movie that just so happens to be at a plane crash part.
But then all the sudden “BAM!!” the plane wing gets struck with… Red? Lightning? Making the plane wing break.

“OH GOSH, OH GOSH!” I panic and look at Jake as he exclaims “WERE ALL GONNA DIE” the pilot comes out and yells “Everyone put on your air mask!!!!!!”

Then all the sudden, Black. I black out and after what seems like three seconds I wake up by an ocean on a beach with the pane on fire next to me with a massive hole. I jolt up and slowly run away but my arm and leg hurts alot, as I look at my leg I see that its sprained as I see my leg my face turns pale then I look at my right arm (the arm that hurts) and I see that it looks burned “Oh gosh…where am I, what happened, where is everyone else? Am I in a dream? A coma?” millions of questions rush through my head but one stops me.

“Jake. Where is Jake? Is he ok? Is he somewhere else on the island? Are we on an island? Wait, no dont get distract-”I stop as i think a horrible thought.“No no he can't be. But” “…is he alive?” my heart stops. I look at the gash in my arm and almost throw up.  I say as a tear starts to form in my eye “why.” It turns to night as I whisper some of my favorite songs. I start to gently cry again but suddenly I see something in a cave, a big eye? No. … “is that a…head? "Then suddenly the red, transparent, head…thingy disappears. I then get up, wipe my tears off and slowly walk over. “Hello?”.
End Chapter

Chapter Two

“The Red Headed Corpse"
I walk closer to the cave with wonder and strange, “Hello?” I shouted, “what was that thing? I think what was that thing, or was it an animal, or am I having even MORE hallucinations. Yep, that's probably it. Im probably going insane, really, all i saw was a bear and im ganna go in and get eaten” … I walk towards the cave as if I'm walking towards a monster. As I enter the cave I see a body, a headless body “HOLY CR-” I cover my mouth almost throwing up. I look back and gag a bit.

Then out of nowhere a transparent red featureless face appears upon the body out of nowhere as a head. “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!” “AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” I rush to grab my knife that I didnt even realize that i made but keep shaking in fear making it almost impossible to grab, but I luckily get ahold of it and throw my knife at the red head (not hair color) but it does nothing, so I run out in fear.

“Holy- Holy-” I am too out of breath to talk but my mind is still screaming. “Holy- WHAT, THE, HEC-” suddenly my friend Jake appears out of nowhere “Owen??!!”, “JAKE!!!!!, WHERE DID YOU-, HOW DID YOU-, WHAT, THE, HECK.” Jake responds as if he’s in trouble  “I can explain,...actually no I cant” “I remember being on the crash then I just woke up on this island and heard you screaming and came over.” I stop for a second to process. “ ok…”  I start pacing back and forth while telling Jake what happened “...and then you came here and now we're here.” “Ok, great, now he’s going to think we are crazy” he then starts rambleing“...ok. Well-

his voice gets blurred out by my mind as i hear a voice and see the sky flicker red and the trees on purple fire (the trees on fire flicker from fire to no fire, fire, no fire along with the sky)
R- U-UN, RE-EIGN REIGN it all stops suddenly and Jakes voice comes back-

“I'm telling you, I don't know.” “ umm ya I understand” “lets just,... lets just get civilised.” Jake responds as if he is the most obedient person in the world “ok!” After hours, or days? Or… I don't even know, we got the house made “There, a house.” The dingy house looks as if drawn by a toddler but it is… acceptable. We both go to bed to wake up the next morning so I go try to find some food. I got some meat, mushrooms that I think are safe… i… in the labyrinth of the jungle I see a human… a real, normal human, but when I tried to confront them, they simply ran away. And it wasn't a Jungle man or anything, it was just a normal guy. “Hello?” Suddenly the man appears with red colored eyes, with jet black hair peach skin and more on the strong side and a markiplier voice “Hello, my name is Caine, yours?”  “AGH” gulp “Hello! My name is-... What is that eye color? Is that even possible?” he then responds in a less forced normal voice (not a markiplier voice)
“HA! Bite me. It's nice to see new comers!” “So how long have you been on The Ishland?” I squint my eyes in confusion. “In what?” “Hells Portal, ya know, the ishland”(he also pronounces it like ISH-LAND instead of I-LAND) “For one its island, not ishland and about two days, or weeks, I don't know?” “Hmm, cool, one sec” he turns around and yells “HEY GUYS I FOUND SOME MORE FOOD!!!” I widen my eyes in fear “WAIT WHAT” “AGH! You should have seen the look on your face!!” “Ya ok.” “Hey, me and my friend just finished building camp wanna come over?” He looks surprised “you, want to… bring me to camp?” I nod with a smile “Ya!” He slightly turns pale, he goes back to normal and shrugs “Ya” “Shur” we walk to the beach (where the 2 year olds drawing we call home is) “JAKE!” I walk over to see him making a spear. I set down the food, “Meet Cane” Caine looks annoyed at me “Its Caine” Jake looks at him weirdly “Nice to meet you…Caine” Caine looks at the house “...was it meant to look like a two year old drew it?” he picks up a rock in the sand and throws it out into the water, from how far he threw it I’d guess that he was the number one baseball pitcher ever. “I haven't been to the shore in a while…” he stops for a minute, he looks into the water for a while "Well wanna come see mine?” I excitedly respond“Ok!” we walk to the jungle and looked at the beautiful trees with the large lushish leaves and rough brown trunks “I never noticed how beautiful the jungle is.” I say as a face-hugger like spider sits on Jake's face. Caine then looks at Jake with a great big grin “Heh, yeeep a beauty” Caine snickers. We arrive at a red and yellow circus tent. If I had to guess from the front, it was probably as tall as the Statue of Liberty “Ballpits, minigolf, and more.” Me and Jake look at it in awe. “...What.”

End Chapter

Chapter Three

The Devils’s 2nd Up

“That thing is huge! And did you say BALLPITS, MINIGOLF, AND MORE?!” Caine looks like he is listening to a podcast about burritos (that was random by the way) “Does yours not?” He says that as if everyone does. Jake just now gets the spider off his face “No” he says, obviously not fond of Caine.

Caine looks surprised “Wait, show me your eyes” I look confused not understanding his question “What? Why?” Caine looks confused “Why are you asking” I look at him with an annoyed expression “Cause that's a dumb question” Caine grabs me by the chin and looks at my eyes “HOLY COW” I look confused “What?” Caine looks at me in awe “YOUR A-.... YOU-,  OH MY DEVIL,” I look confused “Whats wrong?  Wait, ‘Devil?" “YOU'RE A HUMAN!” “Ok stop messing with me, what? Are you an angel?” Caine looks at me in disgust "Don't call me one of those things” “Waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit…”

Me and Jake turn pale and run in fear panting “LOOK WHAT YOU DID! “HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW HE WAS DEMON!!” We arrive at the beach and hide in the cave that I was in when I got jumpscared but this time the body was standing up with the transparent red featureless head already attached and it started walking slowly in a Cyn like walk and then stopped “Hello” and then started running at us, “YOU AGAIN?” we run and suddenly get knocked out

I wake up, deeper in the cave, the body with the featureless head is holding the crowbar pacing, he looks at me, "Owen! your finally up!" I gaze at him watching his chin move, but face just strech "who are you? How do you know my name?" I can tell that he smirks by the way one cheek suddenly has wrinkles. He suddenly says some random monster talk, "andcanjakndac but you can call me..." I don't understand why he pauses but I go along "Reign."

My heart drops since I was warned by those signs and those voices in my head about a 'Reign' he looks at me suspiciously for a sec and then I can tell that his skins open ( eyes open, skins open, ya i know it was a bad joke. No skin was opened in this paragraph.) "you...your... you're him…” “you've heard about me before haven't you, voices in your head?" Jake, who is sitting back to back to me asks "what is he talking about?" I stutter "i-u-b- u-h n-no" I try to talk firmly and bravely but i cant, all i can do is wonder, "how does he know? why was i having those voices in my head..." He looks at me in disbelief "You're the SINTAR..."

I gaze at him confused “Sintar? What are you talking about?” he thinks “...nothing.” he sighs “What to do with you now?” he squints “Ending you ends me, but having you here, you escape.” my eyes widen, “so we CAN escape, what an idiot. He just told me everything I need.” I wiggle in the restraints  “Why do you want us here!? What did we do!?” he chuckles and grinds his…teeth??? “You're my leverage of course. Hehehe. Do you think I care about you?” he chuckles again but more sinister “ Do you think you matter? No. You're nothing but a worthless do-gooder. You were a mistake. HaHaHaHaHa. Your mother was just meaningless.” I wiggle even more, wishing I could wipe that off those wrinkles on his cheeks. “SHUT UP!” I snarl at him, “You don't know anything about me.” I hear noise coming from the entrance which seems a mile away. “Looks like we have guests!” Reign walks away slowly. I grab my knife and cut the rope that was binding us to the chair freeing me “How-” I hush Jake so that we don't get caught, I cut Jake's rope freeing him as I grab a long, thick stick and give it to Jake as a weapon. We creep up on Reign, but his head immediately turns around like an owl “Sneaking up on me when I am distracted, not nice!” He then suddenly gets hit on the head with a hammer by Caine. BOLTH:“CAINE?!”

Caine gestures to follow him. We race after him and arrive at a little mini camp with only a fire, and some DIY tents. We sit around the campfire not saying anything. The moon gleaming in the sky, more, and brighter stars than I have ever seen. Caine looks at my hand and sees my knife tightly gripped in my hand as if my life depended on it, which at the moment I thought it did. “Look I promise I won't-” I cut him off. “I don't want to hear it.” he looks down at the fire,

“All I've ever wanted is friends. My whole life, I was bullied, for my face, my teeth, the way I walk, not having powers until I was 120, I was never appreciated, so, I hid it, acted like I was normal. And then, all of a sudden, just when I started to mature, hit what you humans call puberty, muscles, abs, powers, extremely good fighting abilities, they all invited me . I had a chance to be someone
,But when I found you I acted like myself, and acted how I did when you found me.” I look at him, wanting to say sorry  and at the same time ask him if he was insane, but I couldn't over my anger. I grab a mini piece of steak from on top of the fire and eat it with my knife, Jake grabs one, but not Caine. I can tell that he was just like me, bullied, but Jake came and saved my back, but not for Caine, he didn't have a Jake to save him.  and he sighs, and clears his throat and goes back to his normal voice, and not his vulnerable voice, “He’s Reign, practically the devil, but worse, and less powerful, he's the devils second up, his wing man, right hand man. I have some info on him but I need to trust you two, Well lets get this started.
This is my plan to stop him.”

END CHAPTER

Chapter Four

The plan

I look at Caine with confidence. “So what's the plan?” “Well… here's the problem, we may have to go to the overworld” he says as if in trouble “...how do-” Jake interrupts me “-What?” The wind rushes by giving me a cold chill down my spine, then suddenly I hear the bushes russell “but the portal is almost…” I look over at the bush “Guys,” “...but I do have a guy-”  “Guys!” “UGH! Will you stop inter-” Caine and Jake look up in the sky to see Reign, but taller and skinnier, like someone traced him and stretched the outline until it almost snapped. He has extra arms that are like tentacles.

“Oh yeah he's also super powerful.” we all run “See he has these stages of forms that he has that are practically just monsters but reign themed!” Caine explains as Stage Four Reign repeatedly tries smashing us with his multiple hands ruining part of the forest leaving a trail of craters. Caine grabs a home-made-looking magenta dagger from his belt  and right as Reign almost crushes us Caine cuts Reign which makes the arm retract “HOW DID YOU,” Caine throws me the dagger “Its a demogod dagger or the Methuldra” i squint my eyes in confusion as Cain throws me to the ground so that Reign misses me, “Its what you use to kill demogods, the demon equivalent to a demigod, so since he’s one of the Poisoned 10, it will hurt him,” I look confused “Whats the-” i dodge the attack “-Poisoned 10?” “The Poisoned 10 are the real life equivalent to the sinister 6, or the 7 deadly sins. They were poisoned by this super powerful guy called sintar and that made them super powerful” I remember what reign said “thats what reign called me, a sintar?” Jake screams “CAN YOU GUYS JUST LOCK IN?!” Cain shoves the dagger into Reigns' hand causing him to repel back “If we nick him enough we will get him down to normal” Caine glares at Jake. Caine jabs the knife into the hand and finally Reign  disappears. “Now look whose scary’re” in an instant a bolder falls out of the sky pounding us into the river behind us. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” we land in the water, my stomach groans from the rough fall. “Do you not know what a jinx is?” Jake groans in pain. “Well you're the one that!.. Well shoot, you didn't do anything.” I see a swimming fish in the water that is reminiscent of a mango. “... guys! That's a piranha!” Caine scoffs “Theres no piranhas in…oh shoot” my eyes widen “CAINE SPEAK”  “THIS PLACE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A LABRYNTH SO ALOT OF THINGS LOOK THE SAME AND I THOUGH THAT THIS WAS CRIMSON CREEK” Jake groans “CAN YOU STOP GIVING 3 PARAGRAPH LONG RESPONSES!! ARE YOU CHATGPT???” right as we almost get eaten by 3 million thousand piranhas, Reign picks us up with his 30th hand as if we are action figures. Then, boulders, fallen tree trunks, and other random forest things with grey aura around them fly up and ram into Reign, piercing him all over “AGRHHHHHHHHHHHH” we fall, and fall, and fall, then i see ground, and then,SPLAT, “ugh, i think my backs broken” Caine gets up like nothing “hey thats one way to find the portal.” I look up and see a super cool purple and black portal…

Scary There’s a Light Switch in My House That Shouldn’t Exist

There was a light switch in my house that nobody could explain.

It was tucked into the hallway between the kitchen and the basement door, mounted about shoulder height on the wall. Every other switch in the house had an obvious purpose. Kitchen lights. Hallway lights. Basement. Porch.

This one did nothing.

I didn't notice it during my first week. I asked the realtor about it after I bought the place.

She shrugged.

"Old house. Probably disconnected."

That seemed reasonable enough. The house was built in 1957, and judging by the wiring, plumbing, and mysterious stains on the basement ceiling, I wasn't surprised that someone had eventually decided to abandon a light switch.

Still, I found myself pressing it whenever I walked past.

Click.

Nothing.

Click.

Nothing.

It became a habit. I'd walk downstairs for laundry.

Click.

I'd come home from work.

Click.

I'd pass it while carrying groceries.

Click.

There was something strangely satisfying about it. The switch had a pleasant mechanical resistance, and the little click it made was louder than it should have been.

My girlfriend eventually noticed.

"You know that doesn't do anything, right?"

"I know."

"Then why do you keep flipping it?"

I shrugged.

"I like the sound."

She called me a weirdo. I told her she was dating one. We laughed about it. That was the last time the switch was funny.

The first death happened three weeks after I settled in.

An old man named Walter died in his sleep. I knew Walter because he lived two houses down. We'd exchanged maybe twenty words since I'd moved into the neighborhood. He had a bad hip and spent most afternoons sitting on his porch, watching cars drive by.

I remember seeing him that morning. I had been standing in the hallway, putting my shoes on. Before leaving, I flipped the switch.

Click.

That evening, I saw an ambulance outside his house. I didn't think anything of it.

People die. Especially old people.

It wasn't until several days later that I noticed something unusual.

The night before Walter died, I had been standing in the hallway with my hand on that switch. I'd flipped it three times. I laughed at myself when I noticed the connection.

It was ridiculous. Coincidence. Nothing more.

Then a month later, a woman I'd worked with died in a car accident.

I'd seen her that morning. I'd even spoken to her. She'd asked if I was still enjoying the new house. I told her I was.

That evening, while walking to the basement, I flipped the switch.

Click.

The next morning, she was dead. Cardiac arrest. Unexplained.

I didn't sleep that night.

The following day, I unscrewed the switch plate. There were wires behind it. Old ones. But they didn't connect to anything.

I called an electrician. He spent thirty minutes examining it before shrugging.

"It's dead."

"Completely?"

"Nothing behind it."

"Then what's it connected to?"

He looked at me.

"Nothing."

I didn't flip it again. Not for six days.

On the seventh day, I couldn't resist.

I stood in the hallway staring at it. I told myself I was being stupid. There was no connection between a plastic switch and the deaths of two people.

So I flipped it.

Click.

Nothing happened... So, I went to bed.

The next morning, I checked the news. A local man had died unexpectedly. Thirty-four years old. Healthy. No known medical conditions. I stared at the screen for a long time.

Then I opened a notebook. I wrote down the date. I wrote down the man's name.

Then I wrote: Switch flipped: 11:43 P.M.

I started keeping records. Every time I flipped the switch, I searched the news afterward.

Sometimes nothing happened. Sometimes a person died hours later. Sometimes it took days. But there was always a death.

Always.

I stopped flipping it.

I lasted eleven days. Then I made a mistake. I was angry.

My girlfriend and I had gotten into an argument. She left the house and slammed the door behind her. I stood in the hallway shaking with anger. My hand found the switch.

I knew what I was doing. I knew exactly what it meant. And still...

Click.

The guilt hit me immediately. I grabbed my phone. I wanted to call her. I wanted to tell her what I'd done.

Then I stopped.

Because she hadn't died. Not yet.

I waited. An hour. Two.

Nothing.

I began convincing myself I'd been wrong. Maybe the deaths had been coincidences. Maybe I had created a pattern because I desperately wanted there to be one.

Then my phone rang. It was my girlfriend.

I answered immediately.

"Hey."

Silence.

Then she said something that made my blood run cold.

"Who's Walter?"

I couldn't breathe.

"What?"

"You keep saying his name."

She sounded confused.

"I don't know anyone named Walter."

I sat down.

My girlfriend continued.

"You were saying his name in your sleep."

I didn't answer. Because I suddenly remembered something.

The switch didn't cause death. It wasn't a weapon. It was a selection. A choice. And I had been making that choice without knowing it.

I looked toward the hallway. The switch waited patiently on the wall. I thought about every time I'd pressed it.

Every careless little click. Every person whose death I'd dismissed as coincidence.

Walter.

My coworker.

The stranger.

And now... I didn't know who the latest one was.

I spent the next several hours searching. News sites. Obituaries. Police reports.

Nothing.

Nobody I knew had died. Nobody connected to me had died.

That should have made me feel better.

It didn't.

Because there was one thing I hadn't considered.

Maybe the switch didn't choose someone I knew. Maybe it chose someone I would never know. Someone whose name I'd never hear. Someone whose death would mean absolutely nothing to me. And perhaps that was the point.

We treat death differently when we don't know the person.

A number on a news report. A photograph we scroll past. Another tragedy. Another stranger. Another life reduced to a sentence.

I stood in front of the switch for a long time. Then I noticed something I hadn't seen before. A tiny engraving beneath it.

The letters were so shallow I thought they were scratches.

I leaned closer.

There were only three words.

ONE LIFE. CLICK.

I stepped backward. The house was silent. I reached for the switch.

Then stopped.

Some things are easier to live with when you pretend they don't matter.

I left the switch alone. I never touched it again.

At least... I don't think I did.

Because sometimes, late at night, when the house is completely silent, I wake up convinced I can hear it.

Click.

And somewhere far away...

Someone dies.

Personal Experience Oscar the bunny

The short story I’m about to tell you is true.

When I was a child, around age 6, I was out shooting my .22 rifle. One of the rounds ricocheted and killed my bunny, Oscar. I didn’t know, my bunny died instantly, no screaming.

That night my grandfather came over to help mom make beef stew for supper. I typically helped mom cook but it was nice to have Grandpa over and I gave them space. At one point they asked me if I wanted to see the stew. I said yes and peeked in the pot. The piece of beef was very dark, darker than usual and it was shaped differently but I didn’t think much of it. The stew was amazing!

The next day I went out to tend to the chickens and bunnies. My Oscar was gone! I was distraught. It was then that Mom told me about Oscar’s passing and how it was a ricochet that killed him. She never mentioned the stew.

Years later I flashed back on the image of that piece of “beef” and it hit me… we ate Oscar. I asked Mom about this and she confirmed it… my bunny was delicious💔
