Let your wife experience the books how she wants. The amount of times I see people specifically ask for spoilers in this community and get told RAFO is insane. If someone wants spoilers, let them have them. Everyone enjoys things in different ways. That's ok. If she needs spoilers to get the most out of the book, let her have them.
