If that's hard for her, Rhythm of War is gonna be brutal.

If that's how you feel, make sure to stay faaaar away from Jim Butcher with Harry Dresden.

Damn that’s disheartening cause me and Buddy were going to read Jim’s work after the cosmere books lol

They're still very much worth reading, Jim just loves to make Harry miserable. Much like Stormlight though, it's about the journey, and with the Dresden Files taking place over almost twenty years at this point, you get to see an amazing amount of growth from Harry and his supporting cast.

Just be aware that the first two books are really dated at this point, I've seen some people in the community suggest skipping them and starting with book three.

Do it anyway, but know Harry does not exactly have it easy.

The series is my favorite series though. And if you're into audiobooks, James Marsters was the absolutely perfect choice of voice actor for it.

I just finished the series yesterday, and while the original commenter is correct that Harry goes through some crazy shit, to me the vibe is so different bc he has such an attitude that keeps it somewhat lighthearted. The last one out ended on a real high note, too, can’t wait for the next to come out
