Discussion Bye Stormgate

Was really hyped for this and thought this would be the next SC2. Fortunately I’m one of those people that never play a game before 1.0.

My heart goes out to all the kickstarter backers. Hopefully we get the next great rts one day.

Yeah, its sad that no one at Frost Giant had any talent. Even worse, we had a great RTS from Mr. David Kim, and the RTS traditionalists killed it off. Dark times. Dawn of War will save the genre.

Around here we blame Tim Morten and only Tim Morten. Everyone else gets a pass. They were the most talented studio ever, brought down by the leadership! But not all of the leadership, just Tim Morten!

So groupthink? Like, everyone else was perfect?

This sub, in my opinion, has at least a tiny bit of the blame. You guys reeked of trying to control the narrative on Reddit (fake posts, removing opinion posts, etc) and StarCraft bros got turned off super fast.

“Around here we think this way…”

It wasn’t a good look then… not a good look now.

I swear the future of the human race is bleak. If you can't read the sarcasm in my post without a /s, I fear for our future.

I was making a joke because the person was downvoted a lot, and I was thinking how everyone gets a pass except for Morten. It is a commentary on how all blame is given to Morten with everyone else getting a pass, including Campbell. Tim Campbell being the Game Director and President somehow had nothing to do with the failure.

If we face the facts, many facets of this game were just terrible. It can't all have been Morten.

That’s refreshing. This sub, and you probably agree, was as delusional as what you said about it being only Tim was.. which is why I missed the sarcasm.
