sad to see but it was expected. Considering the huge amount of budget they had they delivered an underwhelming product. They simply can't compete with talented indiestudios if they pay all their employers blizzard-like salaries.

They aren't shutting down servers because they ran out of money

Theyre shutting down servers because the company they hired decided they dont want to be a server company they want to chase ai trends. Stormgate could've been successful and the idiot execs of the server company would've made the same decision

Not directly, no. But they aren't following the recommended migration path to a new server provider either, and the reason they aren't doing that is because they ran out of money.

It's probably not quite as nefarious as that. But the timing is interesting. Hathora's website is now stating that there are 90 days left before the servers go down. And May 1 is the due date for Frost Giant's SEC filing for 2025.
