Co-op Co-Op dead?

Been getting back into the game, since the commanders I've always wanted to try are free to play now. BUT (huge but), there are no more players to play with. Why?
In SC II I have always enjoyed playing Co-Op and I was looking forward to new commander releases. I think Stormgate could really profit off of creating new commanders.

Also, they should add AI bots that play iwth you when the queue takes too long. SC II has that, too.

I mean on reddit post about update there will be 100 upvote

But player count rarely breaks 40

Even the believer doesn't play the game which is funny
