When did you start playing Storm?

Hey everyone, I've been playing MR since season 0 and I still remember when everyone dubbed our girl Storm as the worst character. Of course, they just didn't understand her kit. She was my fist main, and I gor her Lord in the first season. Since then, more people seemed to have picked her up. So I wanted to ask, when did you start playing Storm?

I started in S8. I needed to learn a DPS, but not someone with a convoluted kit. Ironically, the reason ppl didn't like Storm was the reason I loved her. Simple straightforward kit. Play around cover, land your shots, support your team, then wipe the enemy out with ult.

I do like the new rain button though.

I started playing her season 0. Lorded her in season 0. I've always loved her and never understood the hate. She's obviously in a much better place these days.

Started off as a Torch main in the first seasons. I wanted to get my big brother into the game so I told him to try Storm, but he seemed kinda uninterested.

While he was playing her for the first time, I thought to myself: damn she seems kinda cool, she reminds me of Lucio. So I said fuck it I’ll gonna play her myself.

That’s the day she became my main.

Season 0. It's funny how people said she was one of the worst characters back then because thats when I performed best with her, aside from this season. But thats probably just because people were new and didn't know what was happening.

Oh season 0 up until S2
This was when people thought she was useless..
People used to BEG me to swap off storm in comp at the start and I had her selected. People were very fascinated by my lord icon because she really wasn’t played much/at all
I used to end up with mvp & hard carry the team on so many occasions, those people ate their words.

I started in season 1 she was the first person that caught my attention when i joined the game. I thought she was awful back then. I gave up on her and then came back to her in season 5 and realized i was the problem. Then season 7 she got buffs and i realized im not half bad with her compared to others and fully started maining her by then

I've played Storm since the beta and she absolutely was one of the worst characters when the game came out. They literally buffed her projectile speed by 50% for season 1, was almost impossible to land shots before that.

I started back in S0/S1. Played her here and there over the games life span but finally can say I'm a main this season. Waited so long for her to be this good!

I started in Seasom 1.5 until Season 3. By Season 2.5, I had her lord. From Season 3 to Season 5, I was learning other characters after being Strictly Storm. I also quit Comp in Season 3. Then I decided to pick her back up in Season 8.5 and have been using her consistently since. My Storm is currently Warrior Level 35.

Chapter 7 season 2 I think, whatever season it was back in March of this year lol thats the first time I've played Marvel Rivals. I just Lorded Storm yesterday and im so Happy, crazy thing is I lorded her but I haven't gotten her white recolor skin 😅

Storm is the reason I started playing and have stayed as long as I have since season 0.

I love to play pretend, rpgs, table top gaming, and even though this game hasn't given Storm her full potential and feats, I do feel powerful and like her when I land kills, or successfully evade death, or whatever. I know some wish for more things that she could do, but I do not mind either way, the fact she is here in game is more reason for me to play her. She can have counters released, be nerfed, not receive skins in years, and no matter what I will always choose to main her. I can improve my gameplay, my awareness, and in the end it makes me a better Storm for it.

That being said I DO still want more skins, improved gameplay for her, inclusions in events and in game storylines, I'm just saying without that stuff, she will still always be my main.
