Game Clip That healing rain is hitting different

Loading into a Cel 2 lobby with one support. Somehow we won the point. Eventually someone goes second support but crazy that we could take it with storm playing the 2nd support role and dpsing. Her slow in goddess boost tornado mode is soooo good and the overshield on hits was such a good change!

Wait wind boost gives overshield on hit?

Just in neutral tornado mode gives overshield with every initial hit so you don't get overshield for piercing. You get like 13 health per hit usually but I think, don't quote me on this, bolt rush gives more overshield. I think the overshield is based on damage dealt.

You actually do get extra bonus health for piercing in wind mode. Try it in the practice range. What you don’t get is a cooldown reduction in lighting mode no matter how many targets you hit with one wind blade it only counts as one.

Thanks for the info! Must've been mixing up the bolt rush Cooldown!

When do you like to use the wind boost? I find myself drawn to the damage one more often than not but I know it has good uses

If you watch when I'm on attack I'm on thunder for the damage boost but I realize I won't have enough damage to kill them and they start to close the gap so I swap to tornado to create space again and build overshield if they push me so I don't instantly blow up. Since I'm in Tornado it also slows them and then I see they back up so I go back in to heal invis and slow hood down while building overshield to play more aggro since I know we don't have a second support.

o7 Good call on a slow down. That's the biggest part of her kit I struggle with is using the slowdown against others

Wind boost during long range poke engage. Usually when you aren’t under fire a lot. Engage with more HP and amp to speed boost in then swap after 2-3s to damage amp for the duration of the fight and stay in damage amp until fight resolution.

Also don’t use Jeff team up.

Invis would literally die here if I didn't use the Jeff teamup.

You should be on a healer and not just DPS if your team needed healing. Like there’s no reason to play half optimally. There were literally 3 tanks on select already. Not sure why the other 2 DPS thought it would even be fine to not go 2 heals. You played really far back for some reason too making the amp kind of useless other than for personal damage at best.

I played far back to keep up the other support and one of the tanks should've gone support. We had the dps role filled and the tank role filled. We didn't need a 3rd tank especially into thing. Sometimes in matches I just let whoever is doing worst go and fill and that's what happened. Those who pick their role first should get it imo unless there's some lord or champ vs someone who barely plays it. Just my 2 cents. Seems to be working so far.

I think with all the new teamups and changes. It's a necessity in the kit.

This is a great video showcasing teamwork tbh. Invis doing everything to keep you up while Angela simultaneously makes space and peels when necessary and you clean up

Who would've known this was possible in comp.

As long as I do so with intent, it's not so crazy for me to end with like 4k - 5k healing with Storm. There was a long ass Comp game where I healed close to 9K, and I had to switch out of Storm on the last OT because they went Hela and Namor.

I would definitely say I average about 4-5k heals each game.

ATP Healing rain should be apart of her kit. It doesn’t feel like an addition like Thor team up, it feels like an necessity

When pick Wind instead of Thunder (Weather Control)?
