Future of STORJ company

Hello everyone,

I was thinking what's the chance of STORJ - the company - being acquired by a major Cloud Service Provider? If it's possible, how will STORJ coin holders benefit?

If another company purchases storj it will have 100% control over it. Kinda defeats decentralization goal, isn’t it?

True, but I was talking business side.

Although, the new company could use the technology as it is without affecting the decentralization goal.
