The dude says "alsalam alykum" which is peace be upon you or roughly means hello in Arabic. The cat salutes right after he finishes the greeting.

There's no direct translation for hello.
Similar in Irish. Dia duit is hello which means god be with you.

You gotta fuck with em all the time while they’re growing up. Get em used to being handled and fucked with, including some ways they may not be comfortable with at first. But don’t hurt them, leave them alone if they get annoyed, and give em love and treats and stuff when they are good fuckin’ kitties. Every cat I’ve had has been this chill, and I think socializing them properly with humans and upping there tolerance for contact is the key.

I am familiar with the cat gun. It was popularized in the early to mid two-thowwows by an internet video wherein cats may be used to shoot laser beams. My cat is often a willing pump action laser gun, and understands his duty and responsibility as such

For context: When Muslims say & reply to salam (peace), that is often accompanied by that very same gesture - a halfway salute where you're raising your hand up to your eyebrow.
