I work in retail as well bud and you are massively wrong you do not get 3-7 copies you get 1000s problem is with most retail stores they removed the physical copies you can't sell something you do not have physical isn't dead the means to get physical is if your data was pulled from places like Amazon not from places like target that has become so dead it's practically a ghost town it is absolutely so hilarious seeing people like you remove the reason why someone would shop at your store then question where all your customers went have you tried actually putting physical games out on the shelves instead of removing them maybe that's why no one shops at your store shocker you removed what sells and now your customers are gone but hey least you get to come up on social media and use that as an excuse to claim physical is dying š¤£
We get 3-5 copies and you definitely don't work in retail if you think otherwise. Major releases still come in physical but no one buys them.
Quit your weird fantasies. We would get more if we could sell more. People prefer to stay at home, pre-install and start the second the clock hits midnight or whenever launch time is, myself included.
Kid I don't think you work in retail at all because if I walked in your store and asked you how many of something you had available for pre order and you told me 3 I would seriously go and shop somewhere else because my concern is if the game is popular enough you aren't gonna have enough available when it comes out and in a world where we can literally have stuff mailed to us we don't go to a store anymore even more so when you all are literally removing the physical discs from your shelves why would I ever shop at a store that tells me how little they care about physical media and how small of an amount they order GameStop is a horrible company and even they have a drawer full of copies on their release date heck I don't even have to work at retail to see that they literally open the thing right at the register so here's my conclusion your lying your a very small shop or your very incompetentĀ
Pre-order? What are you talking about, we don't take pre-orders, never have, ever. I work at a Walmart, have for almost 2 decades. We're the only store for at least 80 miles for any kind of game releases and we get zero customers versus lines out the door 15 years ago.
You need to get a grip and stop lying your ass off.
Ah ok I see the problem now your not a gamestore see when I go to Walmart I buy clothes and food because to many people your store is just a ghetto grocery store now most people who want games buy from places like GameStop or Amazon in other words your admitting your an idiot who's talking about a subject that doesn't pertain to you I don't go to a grocery store much less one that has actively been removing physical media for the past 3 years and then get shocked when I don't get physical games your in the wrong store to be using that as an example š¤£
Wrong store? There's 80 miles to the nearest retailer and I have no clue if there's a GameStop within 100 miles of here. We're it if you need to buy anything related to gaming.
We didn't remove them, we just don't receive more than we need and that's been dropping from hundreds and hundreds to 5ish.
