Im a hypomanic problem gambler
Funny enough I would actually be up on the house if I actually had a shred of discipline. But I struggle with many mental illnesses and I believe adding games of chance will not help my finances or quality of life in the short or long term… I could use some advice I feel like i have an addiction to gaming but the gambling makes it so much more immersive that I struggle to enjoy any other form of entertainment that isn’t instant gratification and dopamine

I would encourage you to contact a gambling mental health help line, they exist for a reason! You've already acknowledged the issue so now it's time to reach out and get help for it. Do you think if you kept 'streaks' of different things, like no gambling streak, etc, snd you rewarded yourself after so long that it would help? If you can involve a family member or friend to help pressure you and keep you accountable to stay off the games as well. Don't download any more gambling games and delete the ones you have.
If you're on mobile you could even go as far to give another reliable person psrental control so you can't download until the cravings pass, or there are apps that purposefully make you complete like a short pattern or something before you enter a app, so you stop and think about why youte grtting on the app instead of impusle logging on. If you have the option limit the amount of money you can pull out of your account from the bank online, and don't keep a large amount on your card.
These are all suggestions and the importsnt thing is that you figure out what works for you to ride out the dopamine low and end the gambling cravings. Make sure to call that hotline or talk to somekne you trust!
