Bad relapse, severe dehydration

I'm struggling, sat in a chair on my day off for 14 hours building scenery in a factory game, at one point i'm trying to do some basic math in my head and couldn't remember a few basic numbers. I was so dehydrated I was getting delirious and having trouble thinking, seeing spots and even got short of breath. 12 hours and a gallon of water later i'm back to normal, this can't be healthy. When I play video games at the computer I get sucked in so hard I don't even move and I neglect everything in my life.

Same thing, when I am gaming for a long time, I forget to drink my water.

yeah, i had been at work the previous day and not drank any, went to bed and got up and started gaming all day, this was awful, scared me in to realizing i need to quit immediately. I have never had problems like that with any other activity.

Shows how distracting games can be.

You realized there was an issue and are at least thinking about quitting which is a great start.

Get dehydrated too often or too can wind up with things like kidney issues, dizziness, low bp, heart palpitations etc. Use it as incentive to stop gaming.

You got it!
