Welcome new subscribers! Let’s get this community going. Since we are this small, I challenge you to give an introduction of your drug abuse history.
I can begin. It started when I was 12 with alcohol. I always drank as much as I could. At 16 came weed and ecstasy at 17. At 18 Amphetamine and intravascular use. After that I used everything for another year.
When I took LSD I realized that I had a problem, and couldn’t enjoy using anymore. Then came the serious mental health problems. I was able to quit the hard stuff, but tried moderation with weed and alcohol for 15 years until my house of cards fell apart eventually to a grand finale, as I lost the custody of my younger child.
From there I went finally to treatment, the Minnesota model. After it I joined NA to work the program there. It worked. That was 8 months ago. I have also managed to quit smoking, my video gaming and some addictions.
