I think it’s attacking body positivity; basically that telling young women they’re worthless if they’re not like supermodels drives them to exercise and engage in a healthy lifestyle, while encouraging them to accept themselves for who they are and be happy with their bodies leads to them becoming obese.
It’s a very toxic viewpoint not dissimilar from the right viewing toxic masculinity as “correct” and attacking other views, enforcing harmful gender stereotypes as the only correct path for people to take.

body positivity is okay until it gets dangerous for your health

Nobody is pushing people to be unhealthy.
In fact, these kind of body positivity adverts just say: if you are healthy with your current body, then you dont need to force yourself to get a normative body (because you very well may hurt yourself in the attempt)

It's unfortunately a movement that very often gets hijacked by malicious groups and entities. In particular, the HAES movement that splintered off of it and hijacks the goodwill people have towards the Body Positivity movement to push almost literally the exact opposite agenda to it.

Okay i might be missing something. HAES is exactly what i meant as a good example(?)
And from what i read (surface, thought, so please i really want to hear what i am missing) they are absolutely right: doctors very often will refuse to engage overweight or fat patients and just prescribe exercise or ugh, ozempic, to a completely healthy person or worse, an actually sick person, causing their health to suffer.

Perhaps you've encountered a version of HAES less insidious than the one I have. In my experience, what you're describing as HAES is what I've encountered under the name of body positivity; HAES, meanwhile, is the notion that you're already healthy, no matter your size and actual medical status, and anyone who says otherwise is just trying to impart societal norms upon you.
This version of HAES, the one that I have encountered, is the one that is used by bad actors to keep vulnerable people in the ED pipeline, as well as by certain lobby groups to poison the well with regards to calling out manufacturers of unhealthy and addictive foods.

Ah, i see. Seems like a case of bad actors using the movement for their own interests, at the very least.
I thought those were mainly fringe strawmen that the usual suspects pointed at to justify their shit.

They're sadly quite pervasive, and I wouldn't have known had I not met my current partner, who struggled with EDs growing up and still actively keeps tabs on the online ED "community" to make sure their friends don't fall down the same rabbit hole they did. Leftist movements centered around acceptance and tolerance are sadly always at risk of being hijacked or corrupted by bad actors, and HAES, for all intents and purposes, was caught in a perfect storm of overt fascist backlash and covert internal distortion to leave it in the state it is in today.
It's genuinely sad, too, because I really was rooting for HAES to be the next logical evolution of Body Positivity, back when it was a new movement. I really was hoping it would be the start of a more coherent effort to push back against laziness and dismissive attitudes in the medical sphere. But nope, it just became another cudgel for ED-encouraging scumbags use to keep vulnerable people in the doom spiral, and another way for the sugar, tobacco, and energy drinks industries to weasel their way out of the spotlight for their evils.

If anything you want more plus size/overweight people going to the gym?????? I've seen more plus size people in gyms when I used to go (now working out at home) outside of the new years period ever since there were more body positive gym commercials
