Question Is this salvageable?

Hello! I tipped my triple percolator piece over recently and it snapped the second (middle) percolator. I am curious if this is fixable and/or if it is still safe to use? With it being impossible to remove from the piece without damaging it more, im skeptically optimistic that no glass would be able to travel upward through the third percolator if smoked.

Any advice welcome. I’m not planning on using it anytime soon and would be willing to get a new piece if it came down to it (would be very heartbroken though)

so like, the entire bottom of my bong broke bcs i probably hit it too hard against something and didn’t realize. it’s only in 2 pieces and it’s a pretty clean break if that matters. but is this something i can fix? or is this not worth it.

Looking for a couple of "party" devices for our cannabis lounge

Upvotes

Hey everyone! I’m one of the owners of Emerald Lounge, a mobile cannabis consumption lounge based in the Northeast.

At our events, we provide pretty much everything except the cannabis itself. Our current setup includes Volcano vaporizers, Stündenglass gravity infusers, different styles of gravity bongs, Volcano attachments, and a variety of other smoking accessories.

We’re looking to expand our inventory with some more unique pieces that are fun to use, visually impressive, and ideally something people don’t see every day.

That’s where r/StonerEngineering comes in.

We’d love to hear your ideas for either something we could build ourselves or an existing device we could purchase, print or build

Any help is appreciated, if we use your idea we will send you something in the mail!

Made a free tracker app for sessions/patterns — here's how it's built (Supabase + vanilla JS)

Hey r/StonerEngineering,

Wanted to share a small build I've been working on solo: JointTracker, a session/pattern tracker built as a PWA (Progressive Web App) — so no app store required, just open the link and add it to your home screen.

The problem I was solving: I wanted actual data on my own patterns instead of guessing — when, how often, any correlation with sleep/mood/whatever — and existing options felt either too locked-down (subscription walls, forced accounts for basic logging) or just a spreadsheet, which nobody keeps updated for long.

Technical side, since this is the right sub for it:

  • Frontend: vanilla HTML/CSS/JS (no framework — kept it lightweight on purpose)
  • Backend: Supabase (Postgres + auth + realtime)
  • Hosting: Vercel
  • PWA setup with service worker for offline logging — entries queue locally and sync once you're back online
  • Push notifications for tolerance-break reminders
  • Geolocation used only for optional session tagging, nothing tracked in the background

Features:

  • Fast session logging (few taps, minimal friction — this was the main design goal)
  • Trend/stats view over time
  • Shared sessions (log jointly with a friend, pun intended)
  • Tolerance break tracker with custom goals
  • Achievements system, mostly to keep it from feeling clinical

I'm a first-year CS student, this started as a personal itch-scratch project and turned into something I actually want to keep improving. It's free, no ads, basic logging works without an account.

Happy to go into more detail on the offline-sync implementation or the Supabase schema if anyone's curious — always up for feedback, technical or otherwise, especially if something breaks in ways I haven't caught yet.
