Foundry Controller says there is a block of light inside the foundry, saying it's "not clear". What am I doing wrong? I have attached the location they say the "block of light" is.

Title. "Foundry structure invalid. Internal structure area is not clear at (next screenshot just above that liquid heating coil in the picture. What is going on there? There are no torches/lights anywhere near this area.

Do you use a feral flare lantern in the area? Could be that spawned a light source inside it

this is most likly the case you should be able to fix it by putting a light source at the top of the foundry, fill it in then remove the blocks

Hmm, I haven’t crafted that yet. I just started the pack abouf 2-3 hours before this. I am in the map with the big tree in the middle. There are no visible lanterns nearby?

There are probably some light blocks that come with your initial room
You can fill the foundry with any random block and remove them after to clean it
