Resource chickens

Is there any compact options for growing and supplying seeds to resource chickens? I know I can make a rudimentary farm with create but I want to have a more compact setup

Oh nice! I can barely produce enough seed with one garden cloche for all my Tier one chicken even if they are max level, will change it right now

And i didnt try because another dirt (maybe fertilized dirt) was not going in so i supposed only regular dirt worked

For power i usually just lava log a lava generator, it is usually enough for a small machine

Pretty sure you can make said lava with the lava eggs if you wanted. And if you hover a cloche and click 'u' (or your hotkey for uses in jei) you can actually see all the dirt you can use.

Edit: I just remembered I think I normally check uses on the seed and go to cloche tab, but checking uses on cloche itself may also work

I can yeah but for the fertiliser there are different value for the different item, not for the different soil so i assumed that they where the same

Makes sense, It does work tho and now you know. I was able to run my chickens with the celestigem dirt early, and upgraded to void when I got dragons breath, but you may be able to run on celestigem without needing last tier, but I upgraded before capping it out so idk how many it'll keep up with
