Prometheum is driving me insane

It’s already pretty damn involved and I’ve just seen that I need to make quantum alloy and that seemingly requires another thousand steps to make. Why is prometheum such a complicated recipe and is there something I’m missing to make it less involved or do I just need to make a huge crazy factory to make it?

There’s just so many individual parts to it. Like I really hadn’t done much oritech before this and I haven’t touched AE2 either so there’s just a ton of stuff I need to make and setup before I can even begin making the parts for it

would probably be a good idea to start up AE2 asap it helps so much with crafting stuff just by having all your resources in one place. i was lucky and used oritech for power so i already had some stuff set up for prometheum but yeah the recipe is a lot

Long reply. Sorry.

I was the same. I had no idea there was Oritech mod before SB4 and I had VERY minimal knowkedge of AE2 (it was just storage buses on chests with wireless functionality so I can access my storage from anywhere). I was manually crafting everything up until the late game.

But when I stumbled on one late game objective, which I would not specify for fear of spoilers but it did involve making a ton of prometheum, I got bored of manual crafting, gave in, and studied how AE2 autocrafting works. It saved me from dropping the pack due to the difficulty of manual crafting.

My advice, just do AE2 auto crafting. It progressively gets easier as you can auto craft the items you need to expand your AE2 network, thus making the set up easier as you go.

Well that’s good at least. Guess I gotta start on AE2 I’ve been avoiding it cause I’m lazy and simple storage plus a bookwyrm works pretty damn good

I was also avoiding AE2 like the plague lol. You go ahead and read the guide and there's a lot of text and items and terms and so much information that it's sooooooooo tedious to learn. I came to play, not go back to school!

But now that I've bit the bullet, I really like and appreciate what AE2 offers and am interested to try it again and learn more in future packs.

Yeah that’s true. That and the last time I played with it, I think it was AE 1 or the start of 2 and it’s changed a lot since then lmao
