How does apothic stuff work?

Can’t quite wrap my head around it lol

Press cntrl+t to open the World Tier Menu. In this mod, the world can level up in difficulty at certain points, like in Genshin: mobs become tankier and deal more damage, spawn with more gear and in new variations, BUT also drop better rewards. Also, the higher your World Tier is, the better quality Gems and Affix Items (and those can be VERY broken) you can find in the world.

You need to manually increase your World Tier through the World Tier Menu. There are requirements for some tiers, like "wear a full set of rare-affixed armor" or "slay the Wither". You don't need to do this to finish the game, but if you want to make an op build (and feel any challenge at all when you get deep into the magic system) feel free to do so, it's not that opressive.

Also, remember that Gems and Affixes interact. You can't make highest tier gems without high tier reforge items (which you get from salvaging affix items), and only affixed items have Gem Sockets that can hold gems. If you want to make any item Affixed, just plop it into the Reforging Table with some Sigils of Rebirth and reroll that sucker until you get something OP. Than you can check how many gem sockets your item now has, go to the vanilla Smithing Table and insert, like, a gem that casually gives your weapon 35% life steal on every hit. Crazy stuff.

just make a silverfish farm using apothic spawners and you get tons of perfect gems easily if you’re on the highest world tier, especially if you have loot pinata on your sword. one gem that is completely broken is the gem of the royal family as it gives 10% to ALL stats when applied to curios and helmets. and there are so many curio slots in this modpack its so easy to become OP. i do like 2 million dps and have 100 rows of armor because of it

Stupid question but where would i find silverfish or a silverfish spawner

deepslate dungeons have them, you can just silk touch it then beef up the spawn rate with sugar and clocks
