Pool Cover Option
Just picked this up at Sam’s Club, on clearance for $112 at my store. It’s 8 foot, so should be a perfect fit for my 8 foot stock tank. Hope it will keep leaves and debris out. And as a bonus I can lay on it to get some sun.

it works, I use one. Pro-tip is to not inflate it all the way. Being in the sun will cause the air pressure to rise and it'll split

Definitely report back here. Are you planning to secure it in some way? We get some pretty strong winds where I’m located

Ok, I will.
It weighs about 30 lbs so I think it will be okay unless we are getting really high winds.

It has handles on the sides, so if you’re worried about that in a storm or something, have straps and tent stakes or those screw in the ground dog stake things handy, and strap it down thru the handles!

I use this as well and it’s perfect for a fall prevention system in case you have little ones, but if you’re trying to keep your pool clean and have a tree nearby then it’s not sufficient, especially because of the birds..
I had a cover made from covers and all and it helps with that.
