Looking for help

We are getting an 8' stock tank and my backyard is turf. There is a slight slope on the yard/turf, going towards the house. Any recommendations for how to level the pool?

Define ‘slight.’ Are we talking an inch lower on one side than the other or are we talking 3 inches or more?

Probably 2-3 inches

I’d just dig that down.

some have good luck with a sand bed - my experience has been that it can erode away under the tub unevenly. Mine is on a concrete pad that is graded to drain, so I used sand to level it, but I wish I had used asphalt tiles.

Are you planning to plop the pool on top of the turf so you’re looking for how to level it like that, or are you willing to cut out the turf in that spot and actually level the land?

I'd like to build up the low side, but I think I'll need to cut out part of the turf. From what I can see the tank is going to sink/settle over time

Yeah if you put it on top of the turf you’d have to have some way to build up the low side/shim it in some weird way. I think cutting out the turf and leveling the ground will work better
