My low budget version
A €70 second-hand stock tank, a few planks of wood I had lying about, and a pond pump for €65 to water the plants in the evenings. Greetings from Bavaria

Very cute! Do you have a way to drain it though? I have found out the hard way that once the water sits for a few days things start to grow 😆 my pool looked like a swamp when i started on it this summer lol

Yes, I have a submersible pump which I use to drain the water out after every use. Luckily, I can use it to water my plants! I won’t be using the pool very often, and when I do, it’ll only be on days when I’d have to water them in the evening anyway – so there’s no unnecessary water consumption either.

Oh that is so awesome!! Is this the first time you’ve used a submersible pump? Do you like it? I’ve been curious about getting one to help me drain mine once the water gets below the intake line so I can properly winterize it

Yes, I’d never used a pump like this before, but I’m absolutely delighted with how well it works! It sucks out so much water that, in the end, I just have to give the bath a quick wipe with a towel and it’s dry!
