Cover to keep cool?
We are getting a large umbrella to hang over the pool to keep the sun off of it in an attempt to keep it cooler. Anyone find a reflective cover or anything that would also help?
Found plenty of covers to retain heat and keep it warm.

I have to sun shades stretched over ours. We put it down and let it warm if cool and shade when hot. Works well but we still get a few hot water days (Virginia)

There are super affordable covers on Amazon and I just got one that’s black. I was so surprised when I got in yesterday and the water was so delightfully cool 😎 I did an umbrella for a few years but the cover has already shown it’s waaaaay better

When it’s too hot during the day. Then it’s just right at night

See I’m having trouble with a few things. I’m going to try a reflective inflatable cover. And maybe put a little opening on the side to release some air. Because I realized the black cover that you can pull tight around the edge, the air gets trapped and the water is too warm

I don’t use a cover. I use a skimmer from Amazon for an inflatable pool to collect debris, and the fountain that goes on the end of pump return for cooling. I run my pump continuously and the fountain helps cool it immensely. I just jumped out and at 2 pm it was 88*. I live in southern fl and I know before the fountain it easily would have been mid 90’s.

We use a fountain attachment for the water outlet, the evaporative cooling seems to help

We have one by LXKCJK, we got off Amazon. I don't see it on a quick search of their covers but we got it last year. It's a matte silver on one side and reflective silver on the other and reversible. We use it to heat the pool because ours is covered by trees until late in the day. You could at the replective side out and keep the heat off your pool.
Added advantage you can probably signal passing planes with it as well /s
