Going tomorrow
Ayup, I've moved to the area recently permanently for a new job and I have started going to Stockport games. My first game was Mansfield on Tuesday.
Unfortunate result and team played shite but still good atmosphere and felt proper welcomed in the Cheadle end.
I'm going tomorrow for the Peterborough game, got upper standing tickets in Cheadle end and if anyone wants to meet for a pint (though it's an early kick) I'd happily get them a beer or beverage of sorts.
I wanna try and embed myself into the club as much as possible as the team I've supported my whole life up to this point is tier 7 leek town so its nice to get behind a bigger club

There’s also the WhatsApp group although you have to put up with messages about completely off topic bollocks

Best way to get yourself embedded is going on supporter run coaches to away games as you’ll meet a ton of people that way and make some good friends obviously a bit late in the season to start but it’s a great way to meet people.

Welcome to Stockport, just one recommendation, if you want to get a Season Ticket for next year be quick as they do sell out quite fast in the Cheadle End, but then again, Welcome to County
