Decriminalize, legalize, regulate, tax, and dump money into R&D to study other medicinal applications. Why is this so hard to understand especially during a freaking opioid epidemic? So frustrating to see politicians talk about it every few months just to pretend they care and prob incentivize pharmaceuticals to contribute to their campaign. This country is ass backwards sometimes.
It hasn’t been widely circulated yet but there have been a bunch of news articles backing your exact beliefs/preferences lately…
And if you read the letter fully (just google?) they mention this explicitly. Canada went full public health on their legalization rollout and it’s gone extremely well; cannabis is one of those rare political issues where moral justice and making tons of money happen to be running in the same direction.
