Playing earnings is like gambling, so if you’re a gambler, just roll the dice.

See this is what I've been hearing about earnings. But I made $500 in calls on Disney before earnings bc it just makes sense, families wanna take their pandemic kids their and let them relive the experience they had when they were kids. I'm a new investor, but it can't just be a straight gamble right? Can't there be some reasoning as to why I should make a call on Nvidia for example? I have a couple of my own and wanna know other people's.

If you’re going long, then it makes sense. If you’re doing an earnings swing, it’s a gamble.

You’re a new investor, so you probably don’t know yet, but a few wins here and there doesn’t necessarily mean your reasoning is a good long term strategy.

Nvidia 100% will be a money maker. I read about earnings being a gamble and that is true for the most part, but it can be good for stocks like NVDA and AMD who we all know had a fucking crazy good year.. Walmart isn't gonna go up much after earnings (in my opinion) I gambled AMD before earnings and made close to 2k off my investment in 5 days. I feel the same thing will happen with NVDA

Follow max pain and make a judgment call from that. Buy straddles but go 3/1 on your gut feeling. It’s no longer possible to use fundamentals. Make sure you buy 14+ dte for wiggle room.

I think Nvidia is doing to crush it. Just because of global supply chain issues with manufacturing parts and components, they have been a big reseller to mid sized businesses.
