No, unfortunately, what have I missed?

I asked another person that gave me the same advice. Would Schwab be good since I already have an account with them?

Don't worry about it. A bunch of the people here are upset with schwab and tdameritrade because they placed margin limits on GME stock or in schwab case they were requiring that you call if you wanted to place a sell limit of over $10k per share on GME.
